I would never choose United Airlines at PDX anymore for my company and engineering group. Pick Alaska, Delta or even American Airlines instead of United Airlines. The manager Guadalupe is not professional. She made fun of our passenger about his luggage, saying that United is not a shipping company for his personal belongings. That's unacceptable. If we want to bring baby toys on luggage, is our problem and that's why as customer we pay the service. If Guadalupe is in our company. I would probably get her fired right away.

Staff is friendly and keep things going well. Smaller lounge with limited offerings. If you need Wi-Fi and a place to sit, it's fine, but enough people were taking phone calls that it isn't as quiet as I'd like.

While I appreciate that the club is available,I think the club is too crowded. I also think the hours of operation need to be longer. Flight delays and cancellation can leave you stranded in the concourse while you attempt to solve your travel problems.

Hygiene is likely an issue at the United Club. I saw a staff member just casually spraying sanitizer from afar and causing it to drift to other tables with food. Also, the same staff member was handling trash and then proceed to handle food without sanitizing his hands.
Finally, the water containers the sign says to not use personal bottles but other guests just come and refill their bottles with their mouth piece touching the dispenser tip contaminating the water containers for all other guests. The staff did not stop this behavior but actually told the guests that water containers are there. I told another staff about this and the containers were promptly removed and washed. So that’s good.
This club is really small compared to clubs at other locations. Food is limited but tasty.
Although this United Lounge in Concourse E at the Portland International Airport is on the smaller side when compared to other UA lounges, the facilities were clean, functional, and well-maintained. Food was just average and not a lot of options. However, the Sam Adams beer is free! Staff was efficient and friendly.

Still hard to compare against Star Alliance lounges in Asia or Europe, where there's lots of food options and showers. That said, they're bigger international airports.

Horrible lounge, poor „food“!!!! The only thing good was the Italian coffee from Illy! No real lunch offer, cake mix used, atleast place was cleaned up in between. Employees not very ambitious. Should have good look at Lufthansa lounge at Frankfurt airport; difference like heaven and hell!!!! Was glad, to get back home to Germany 🇩🇪🇩🇪👍
