We love Urban German for its authentic cooking (wish pork knuckle was an option year round!) and German beers. Our whole family loves it! The youngest is especially giddy when she gets an old mustard mug for her root beer, too!
Super food
We felt like we were back in Munich! Very authentic food and atmosphere and the service was fantastic! Highly recommended! After dinner you can take a short walk to Cathedral Park and the waterfront.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff offer great meal suggestions and truly enjoy their work. The authentic, delicious food is generously portioned, making it ideal for fans of German sausages, with great wursts available. Located in the St John's industrial area, the restaurant is just a short walk from Cathedral Park and downtown St John's. The outdoor seating provides a great ambiance to enjoy brats and brew, with an immense selection of German beer available. While the cost of the German sausages may be higher than expected, the experience is still a worthy visit for anyone looking to dine in a cozy setting. There are also some awesome vegetarian choices, making it a great spot for everyone.
