Urdaneta Reviews
I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and...read full review
Awesome food. Place is pretty small with tables crowded together, so wouldn't necessarily go here for a quiet date night or private conversations, but probably better as a night out with friends. Food and service was great and thoughtful.
This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. The staff are very friendly with Andre being so knowledgeable, friendly, helping us to feel comfortable like being in a neighborhood spot, great at giving recommendations for food, vermouths and Sherry's.
The menu is small, but there's more than enough that I'd want to come back to try everything. Between the food, vermouth and sherry flights, and staffing, it was an excellent, unique experience.

Urdaneta offers an incredible dining experience in PDX, showcasing Spanish culinary excellence in small, shared dishes with extravagant ingredients and wines. The intimate dining room by the open kitchen provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The Burnt Basque Cheesecake is a must-try, along with the delicious carrot gazpacho, wild boar stuffed peppers, and Vermouth flight. The vegetarian options like asparagus, potatoes, and chickpeas are highly recommended. The tapas are delicious and varied, though portions are not very large. The staff is super friendly and ensures a memorable dining experience. Reservations are recommended due to the small size of the place, but it's worth visiting at least once for the excellent food and cultural experience.
