Vance and Vine is a terrific little gem, located inside Hotel Vance.
The atmosphere is upscale - upon entering you'd think they would be expensive, however they are comparable to other restaurants/bars in the area.

Arguably the BEST Burger I’ve ever had. The meat is perfectly cooked/ seasoned. The bun is structured but soft. It’s a perfect bite! I order it every visit to Portland! Sometimes with bacon or without. Recommend; Pickles would give it just a kiss of vinegar influence and I love pickles!
We were there for the first day they started doing happy hour. Despite a little confusion, Melissa was most helpful & the chef sorted things out from the confusion as well. Grace under pressure!

Vance + Vine Kitchen is a terrific little gem located inside Hotel Vance. The atmosphere is upscale, but the prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They serve homemade chips and dip. The restaurant is a great spot for gatherings or meet-ups. The Burger is a popular dish, with perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, and a soft bun. Other great options include the Caesar Salad and Fish Tacos. They also have a happy hour program with good specials on drinks. The classic breakfast is a comfort food that tastes like a home-cooked meal. Overall, Vance + Vine Kitchen is a lovely place for food and drinks.
