We had a cup of hot rentile soup, beet salad and fried chickens to go and they heat them up for us, so that we could eat at a table outside. We highly recommend to try sparkling Kombucha with many different kinds of flavors.
Came across the downtown World Foods on a slow late-morning Sunday. Lovely elevated grocery with a hard-to-pass-by coffee and wine bar—so, that’s where I landed.
Love the bar atmosphere: welcoming, woodsy, quiet, touch of retro.
Ordered a caffe latte and berry scone. Good.
Service: Indifferent

my partner and i will often encounter this market when heading south from NW Glisan St., and we get hungry on a daily basis. as luck would have it, we were passing by here one day and got snacks for ourselves. they have many options in the prepared foods corner. we like how a beet salad pairs with a 1/2 sandwich and a can of mate. hopefully these items will be in stock each time we go there. because they don't have the kale salad that we paired with it before. i did not investigate...
