Service was as well as expected - it's a busy place and our server was covering for someone else. But the food is great. I'm no expert but I thought some of the rolls and dishes were very creative.
The salmon is really fresh and is brought in from Seattle and meets an extremely high standard which is what you want in a good Salmon Sashimi.
The vegie tempura has a thinness to it that allows for a crispness without being too thick and just eating batter instead.

We ate everything so fast I forgot to take photos. Best sushi in Portland. I’ve been going here for 27 years. You gotta get there early and be ready for a line, but it’s totally worth it. Good portion sizes, fresh fish, creative specials, and just a lovely family that run it. It’s fantastic.
