I'm normally not one to frequent Japanese style restaurants, but my co-workers dragged me in despite my protests. I ordered the soup with buckwheat noodles and it was extremely delicious. The Yuki Japanese Restaurant doesn't skimp on portion size and I only made it about 1/2 way through before I raised the white flag. Soup base was rich, but not overly so, and the texture of the noodles were firm. Crowd size during lunchtime was fairly low, and we were served within 10 minutes...read full review
Yuki is really good. It's a little bit crusty on the inside (like a molding hanging off the ceiling here and there type thing) but the service is good and the sushi is great. I really enjoyed the Caterpillar roll. The Dallas roll is also really good. I'll be going back here for sure.

Yuki was a true diamond in the rough. Great food...decent prices...great staff ...and fast service. Sadly, Yuki's is no more...though the replacement, Blue Fin Tuna and Sushi, is pretty damn good too.
