“My wife and I decided to try Ryoshi 153 after not finding anyplace special for our wedding anniversary. Applebee’s and Mexican food was not an option so we settled on sushi which we both like.

It was a Thursday night when we got there about 5 pm. Glad we did because it got busy shortly after we ordered. My wife ordered the Sushi Combo 1. A, and I had Danburi 2. Yakiniku Don (Beef and egg), essentially a rice bowl with special sauce. Both entree’s came with miso soup and cucumber salad. We also ordered baked green mussels. I asked our server how many mussels came with the order? The menu shows six, she said five, we got four. No big deal, we were getting full from our entrees anyway.

As you walk into the restaurant, they display their fish, all of which looked very fresh, along with the specials of the day. The place is clean, food presentation is typical of any sushi restaurant worth its salt. Our server was great, the sushi chef (owner?) was excellent and for dessert we had strawberry mochi balls which the chef decorated with “Happy Anniversary” as a nice finishing touch! Definitely going back.”

I havent had such good Indian food in many years, and I've been to India - the food tastes so authentic, fresh and very generous portions. It's already our new favorite in Longview, hard to top!
