“So here's the deal, our first time and we were invited by good friends to eat there. We arrived first and the table had water poured and a carafe ready to refill.

The server was very pleasant. While waiting for our dining buddies, the restaurant was very attentive.

When our friends showed up, we ordered drinks, an appetizer and our meals.

Timing was impeccable. Drinks showed up and we had the proper time to visit, enjoying craft cocktails, mocktails and a vibrant craft beer.

Shortly after, the appetizer showed up. So good.

Then, the meals arrived. Presentation was brilliant. Food was excellent.

When done, we split desserts.

Price was great. Noise level was proper, easy to talk.

They serve the best Reuben sandwiches, French dip, quesadillas, and turkey wraps in Central Oregon. Owners Mark and Laura learn most guests' names and visit among their tables. Dogs are welcome on the covered, heated patio. Brewery takeovers are great fun! Give this great place a visit.“

“My wife and I visited Gompers via Google Maps (thanks Google!). Gompers occupies a unit in a new industrial area, and they have a small range of products: vodka and a few gins. It's well worth visiting to get close to the co-owner (Michael) who clearly loves his craft. We appreciated his experimentation, mixing gin distillation with wine barrel aging. Does the perfectly good gin stand up to aging in Pinot Noir barrels? Who knows? Who cares? Go find out for yourself! Maybe by the time you read this, Gompers will have moved on other experiments. So maybe now is the time you show up and taste what Gompers has to offer.🙂“

“We literally just stumbled on the absolute GEM while staying at the fair grounds for the reggae festival (food within walking distance is limited in that area). This place was a little slice of heaven honestly. We sat outside in the most beautiful covered patio area, watched the golfers in the most serene setting, ate delicious food (priced very reasonably), drank a perfectly crisp Hazy IPA (don’t even get me started on how impressed I was that they even had a Hazy), and to top it off our waiter (gosh darnit..I don’t get his name..brown hair…not too old haha) was just good vibes all around..a person you just like instantly. The main lodge and other places point you in another direction saying you have to go back into town for coffee that’s a lie. “If you have anyone to serve you, you want Maritza she's amazing, friendly and awesome at her job. Plus the dishes are amazing. my to goto meal is the mother's chicken with the pan fried noodles never disappoint and the portions you get really ties it all together.“
