“I had a delightful jalapeno and bacon pastry yesterday that is worthy of taking the time to review with sincerity. 10 out of 10!! Creative menu, expertly brewed coffees, a warm cozy environment, plus wine, and more! One of the few places open late, but also is bumping in the a m. - I noticed business meetings happening amongst teenagers doing homework on their laptops and agree it has the right environment for this our community needed. Very excited to see some live music there and chill on the outdoor partially covered patio soon! This is a great place to stop in for a gourmet yet affordable bite to eat while you emerse yourself in and converse about the **NEW ART EXHIBIT!!** Tailholt Coffee Co. is now hosting one of my art exhibits, "Wonders of the Redwoods" now through April 14th with new artists being featured monthly. My thanks for opening up your walls to artists and being the type of business to encourage the culture of our community!”

“If Sushi and Asian cuisine is something you enjoy, Kawa River Sushi and Asian Bistro will immediately make it to the top of your list of favorite restaurants! Everything is so incredibly delicious and fresh, my husband and I ended up getting our dinner here three times just this week! Whether you eat in or get "take out," you will find that the selections are reasonably priced, with nice-sized portions, and the sushi and meal choices are definitely a very good value. The staff was very nice, the wait time was minimal, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. Kawa River Sushi and Asian Bistro is now one of our favorite places for an authentic Asian meal. Note to owners: Thank you for opening your restaurant in the City of Rogue River!”

I stop here occasionally during the week on my way to work and my husband and I have a Saturday morning tradition of driving in town with our dogs for a ride and getting a coffee, husband gets a smoothie (he doesn’t like coffee) and our dogs get a dog treat! They are always so kind, remember our orders, and the dogs are always so excited to see them and go there! Great service. I also love that they support other local business by selling a few food items from a local farm! Try the mighty bites, they are delicious little snack. We moved here last summer and this coffee stand has become our first “regular” place we go locally.”

They really have great employees! My Daughter recently went to our local Dutch Bros and when she went to turn into a parking spot the parked car next to the spot wasn’t paying attention and backed up into her as she was pulling in. My daughter immediately in tears! The employees at Dutch Bros saw what happened and paid for my daughter and her passengers drinks to help brighten up her day! That was such an amazing gesture from the employees!”

“Yesterday was my wife’s 40th birthday. We couldn’t do dinner till after 7 because of kid’s school activities and originally she wanted Mexican so we planned on going to Si Casa. Had everyone meet up there (15+ people) to find that they were closed for some reason. Went across the street to La Burrita but they weren’t able to seat all of us. Decided to walk down to Mountain Mikes. We were worried about their closing time, but the person behind the counter (I believe either he was the manager or owner) assured us it wasn’t an issue and told us we were free to use their event room. Made us feel totally welcome and averted my growing anxiety attack over my wife’s birthday being ruined. Everyone working there was super nice, they got us our pizza fast (considering the large orders), and the food was great. So thanks for helping save my wife’s birthday. Earned a few loyal customers last night.”

“Joe's Sports Bar and Grill is an awesome place! The staff has been welcoming since day one, and the food is amazing 10/10. My favorite is the Cajun Fettuccine—I can't get enough of it (fair warning: it has a nice spicy kick!). It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and play the lottery, or play some pool with a great atmosphere.”
