Used my gift card and was not disappointed! It is downtown Salem, so be prepared to circle the block until you can find a parking spot.

It was on my list of places to try;I was in the area with my wife last night,so we tried it out. First off, I want to say how wonderful the girl was behind the register that was so friendly and patient with us and our first time there. It was really great food and the atmosphere was pretty cool lookin,I'll definitely be back to try some other items.

Located at the Fork Forty Food Hall, the stall is easy to find. Ordered takeout. Service was quick. Food was delicious.

Great food, service was fast. The poblano sauce that comes with the fries is so good!

Okay, where to begin?I opted for the honey bbq pork and fried chicken.I got that and the chubby fries with the pablano sauce.Bbq pork.First, the bao is the most incredible vessel for the flavor combination.Second, the pickled onion is fresh and offers a nice balance to the sweetness of the pork. The cucumber and the slaw balance the slight heat from the bbq sauce as well. It's a perfect bite. Balanced with sweet, heat and cooling. Then the bao which is light and pillowy despite the dense look of it on first glance.Fried chicken.Again, bow to the bao. Brilliant vessel for this. The chicken is perfectly fried. Normally I want a bit more seasoning in the breading, but, the sauces offer a perfect compliment to the fried chicken and the delicious fresh veg.Fries. Okay, who cares right? Nope. These are double fried and hand cut. What you get is an adventure in fries. The thinner ones are crispy like chips. The thicker ones have a nice crunch followed by that amazing fluffy mouth feel everyone loves in great fries.Let's talk sauce. The pablano sauce is irresponsible. That's it.I'm kidding. It's completely complex and yet brilliantly simple. The vibrant earthiness of the pepper and just a kiss of heat. Honestly, really freaking good. The meh stuff. It's downtown...so yay, good luck if you're driving in.There's no dedicated seating area, but who cares? The bonus, check out the qr code and you can order in advance. All in all, super impressed. I regret not going sooner but, hey, cannot wait to get back.

The carne asada bao was interesting and had a pretty good flavor to it, and the fries were decent overall, but I would not recommend their pork dishes, as the meat was quite dry and flavorless.

Very fast casual tasting food with an emphasis on the fast...Ordered the five spice tofu with kimchi fried rice, the teriyaki chicken plate and the Korean bbq wings.Five spice tofu with kimchi fried rice: 1.5 / 5Rice was completely tasteless. Tofu was nothing special. Just some fried tofu with cheap Fred Myers style Asian sauce. Hospital food has more flavor.Teriyaki chicken plate: 1.5 / 5Costco style wings deep fried with the weirdest teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted.Korean bbq wings: 3 / 5Definitely the best of the bunch, but not worth the price for 6 wings. Chicken was juicy, batter was nice and crispy. Unfortunately they were drowning in sauce.I imagine this is what Korean food would taste like if your white neighbors tried making it for you for the first time.

The food is super mediocre, not very tasty. Makes Panda Express seem amazing in comparison. Got the teriyaki chicken plate, fried tofu plate, and Korean chicken wings. None of them were very good, not even worth the space in my stomach. And this is not specific to this place, but they ask for a tip upfront when you order, even though you go up to order then pick up and bus your own dishes. So where is the service that we are tipping for?
