stumbled upon this dive bar after golfing in Salem. It was a fun spot to grab a brew. It's located right next to the Plaid Pantry a little bit Northeast Salem. Originally, I was looking to stop at an American Legion, but it was no longer, so diverted and went around the corner to Dark Horse. Full bar, lottery, TVs, small outdoor area. Friendly people. I drank an IPA, it was fresh and prices were average market price.
Cute little neighborhood lounge. The minute we walked thru the door we were welcomed by the bartender who was busy behind the bar making drinks. I liked the fact that this place looked very clean and tidy, no drama and comfortable.
