Hard to beat a cappuccino from Isaac's Downtown. It's consistently perfect. We really enjoy that they use Sister's Coffee for perfect balance between roast PNW coffees and a more tame roast. Awesome cup, and the food is good too.
Isaac’s is a decent contender for the top coffee shop in downtown. It’s a busy spot and the coffee is pretty good, although the attention to detail with the espresso is a little lacking. My Americano was fine, but it had a little bite to it, as if it was underextracted. But like I said, it’s busy, and weighing and dosing your espresso takes time.It’s a cozy enough place to hang out and get some work done. I didn’t order food, so I can’t speak to that.
