“This is by far the best Taco Bell in town. Staff is always great and they package their bags perfectly tbh. Anytime there has been a mistake (which is rare) they are always happy to fix the order and that's why I will always recommend this location. Only ever been to the drive thru so atmosphere was 10/10.“
“Food was good, ordered online picked up in drive thru, had a large order but did not have to wait long, people were very friendly and had positive attitudes, they got the entire order correct including the vegetarian items, great experience!“
“This was the first time I've ever experienced the best of what Taco Bell can do. I had a simple order. I purchased a chicken quesadilla (I added nacho cheese to it), and a medium starry drink, no ice, and hot sauce. They got it right completely. The quesadilla had actual cheese that pulled away from each piece of the quesadilla. It wasn't dry, like usual. The best experience with fast food I've had. The workers albeit fast food workers seemed to be in a good mood (which increases commraderi in a very tough atmosphere..and trickles down to the company as their profits increase).“
“Highly recommended! The best part is the restaurant is located inside the same building as the "Pilot" gas station/convenient mart. I always enjoy their vast selection of snacks, drinks, novelty items, car accessories, and other random nick knax. Their restrooms are very nice, a lot larger than most other places, and are kept pretty clean "usually." They even have showers available "for a cost." I find myself stopping by even if I don't need any gas, just to see whats new in their selection.“
“"I've spent an eternity. exploring the entire state of Oregon, searching for the ultimate Taco Bell drive-through experience.
Do you know how long eternity is?
Remember Buddha’s story: If you take a mountain six miles long and six miles wide and six miles high, that’s the distance a bullock walks in a day. And a bird flies over the mountain once every hundred years with a silk scarf in its beak and brushes the tip of the mountain. In the length of time it takes the scarf to wear away the mountain, that’s how long you have been doing this.
After visiting numerous locations, my journey finally brought me to perfection. This morning, around 10 AM, I pulled into the Taco Bell drive-through, and there was Kern—a true gem. From the moment his voice came through the intercom, I knew this was going to be something special. His voice was not just clear, but carried a soothing, melodic quality that instantly put me at ease. It was reminiscent of a top-tier radio announcer, smooth like fine cognac paired with the richness of a Cuban cigar. You could tell Kern took pride in his job, and that made all the difference.
As I placed my order, Kern listened with the kind of attentiveness that you’d expect from a seasoned therapist—completely focused, calm, and patient. He didn’t just rush through my order; he took the time to ensure every detail was heard and understood. The way he engaged with me was unlike any fast-food experience I’ve ever had—he made it feel personalized, like I wasn’t just another customer but someone whose experience truly mattered.
When I reached the window, Kern’s friendly and professional demeanor continued to shine. My order was perfect, delivered with care, and even in those brief moments, he managed to make a lasting impression. It’s rare to find such impeccable service at a drive-through, but Kern has completely redefined the standard. This wasn’t just a quick stop for some food—it was a masterclass in customer service.
Taco Bell, you’ve really outdone yourselves by having someone like Kern on your team. He turned an ordinary trip into an extraordinary experience, and for that, I give you my highest praise. Bravo, Taco Bell, for raising the bar, and special kudos to Kern for being the star of the show!"“
“This particular location has always been very fast with good service, although I don't like their new greeting where they ask you about the app... I get that they're trying to be a commercial but instead they should just focus on taking orders at the locations.. that said, this location has good service.. I mean it's Taco Bell folks. Just know what to expect... Very clean location though and it's amongst the newest in Salem.“
