“They are excellent at customer service and have a high quality product. This is not your typical ice cream, they do have some odd flavors. Taste them, you might like them. My favorite is strawberry balsamic vinegar black pepper. It's delicious. I was less fond of the pear blue cheese, pears are fabulous, but the blue cheese bite was not quite working for me, but I have a very unrefined palate. They do have more normal flavors, I had peach pie flavor during that season. They have seasonal flavors. I'm on a mission to keep trying the weird flavors, so I'll be back, often. It ruined me for other ice cream because it is an adventure. I save all my ice cream calories for them. I get the 2 half scoops in a cup. Look at the menu before you go. This is not your typical ice cream shop. That being said, they have a freckled mint chocolate chip that looks delicious made with NICE ingredients, and a double fold vanilla, that sounds delicious, and a couple of decadent chocolate ones, (I'm avoiding chocolate for the time being and I'm still playing with the odd flavors). Next stop...olive oil. I heard its great.“

To be honest, if I did a blind taste test between the two, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. But, it's good knowing that Alden's version is organic and free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and flavors, GMO's, carrageenan (a thickener) and antibiotics. “I enjoyed Salted Caramel and Moose Tracks ice cream at a recent food show. This is seriously THE BEST ice cream. I don't know how freaking high the butterfat content is, but you can immediately taste the difference from generic blah offerings. If you have not tried some, do your tastebuds a favor.
