We stayed in The Dalles as a halfway point in our travels. We found this restaurant to be the best of any Mexican restaurant ever. Their chili relleno is fresh and excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly.
We love this place and try to hit it when we go through The Dalles during lunch or dinner time. This time we brought a couple of friends with us, and they're converts now, too! I had their red sangria for the first time and boy is it good. Not too sweet and very thirst quenching on a hot day.

So authentic. Beautiful music, top notch customer service. But the food was over the top delicious. Even though I was full - great portions - I didn't want to stop eating bc the food was that good. My watermelon daiquiri was perfect. The balance between the watermelon and the rum was just right. Best I have ever had. Loved it!
