“When living in Portland this was my default place to connect with a friend, or when I wanted to be around people while also reading or doing some work. The kava is always excellent, with minimal sleep disturbance like some of them can cause me.“

“First the good; I found this place and decided to go here on a date because of the awesome looking basket chairs. I greatly appreciate some good chairs when I pay a premium for drink. Great chairs as expected!

However, the part that did not deliver as expected was the actual drinks I got. I was expecting taylor made drinks, as I was prepared for my personalized blend with some extra ginger and greens. This was not an option; they had some healthy looking snack food, smoothies that were mostly more fruit that veggie based, and pre-bottled green juices. If I had dropped by here on my own this would have been a deal-breaker, but since I had met someone there, I opted to just get something off the smoothie menu that ended up being pretty decent, but not has good as I had hoped with my expectations. I would not come back for this one reason with the lack of custom juicing.

“The best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything about the Original Pancake House is perfection.
The sausage was so well spiced, the eggs were creamy and way more than 2 eggs in volume, the bacon was outstanding and where do I start with the pancakes?
Fluffy, soft, perfectly cooked and the whipped butter is delicious.

Now the coffee is the topper and yes, it is served with FULL FAT CREAM.

Why don't I live near to this restaurant?“

“Slowbomb is on my regular rotation because they have great coffee and they know what to do with it. The breakfast sandwich menu makes this place a one stop shop in the morning. You can text your sandwich order in ahead of time to make your stop more efficient as well. Cookies and pup cups too!“

“Cool, casual vibe. My party ordered our food to go. Out food was prepared rather quickly. Nice dining room. They had outdoor seating out front along with a back patio. Service was very friendly, and quick. Food was outstanding! Great burritos and.bowls!! Smoothie was so refreshing, mango peach lemon. And their giant chocolate chip sea salt cookie was awesome! “I went to place a delivery order this evening to my disappointment. You can’t customize on the app like you should be able to. It won’t let you take something out of a drink without having to add something else into it. My partner hates banana, but loves the peanut butter mood. I was able to call the store and I spoke with Haven. She was extremely friendly and very helpful. She wrote down the customizations I wanted and waited for the delivery order to come through. That was some of the best customer service. Thank you Haven!!“

“This place was tasty. I was trying to kill time since I was going to be about 45 minutes early to an appointment so thought I’d snag a smoothie. I looked it up on Google maps and was at the right location but couldn’t see any signs. Finally saw the address above the door and realized it was inside the Taco Time which I thought was weird. I think the signage should be more obvious. But that doesn’t take away from the smoothie which was delicious. I’ve never been to a Surf City Squeeze before this visit and I’ll definitely be back!“
