“Hailey was so great. She seemed as if she's been working there for at least 5 years. I like to get an unusual drink. A watermelon Italian soda with no cream, but whip cream on top. I tried it and asked for an extra pump of watermelon and told her she doesn't have to, but it'd really hit the spot if she poured a little of the drink out and filled it with whip cream beacuse I like to mix the whip cream in. She did it without hesitation. It was so good and appreciated. Very good service. I recommend.“

“Chinook Coffee CO is our go to on the Peninsula. Best Customer Service! Especially with the historic Valorie. But it starts with the ownership. Today she not only created over the top yummy Kona Mocha drinks but helped us out in a jam. We were on our way to a surgical post op appointment in Longview when our battery died at the window. She called her husband he immediately came with jumpers and revived the battery. She spoiled us with fresh warm crispy crumbles from her fresh baked yummy cookies. We made it to Longview, to my appointment and got a new car battery. Now that is customer service!“

The food and drinks were excellent, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel celebrated. A huge thank-you to Hope, who helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and made sure everything came out perfectly. “A colleague of mine and I were in Astoria for work and had some time to kill in the morning so we decided to drop by for coffee and breakfast. When we pulled up to the building we were both a little skeptical about whether or not Taps would be a good place for coffee and breakfast considering its dive-bar vibes. We ordered two iced Americanos and two Charizo breakfast burritos and both the drinks and the food were fantastic! Now I wish I lived nearby because I would get their breakfast burritos regularly. Had originally put in a mobile order which got canceled as soon as I arrive to the restaurant because they were having system technical issues. An employee informed me that it could be 5 to 10 minutes, so I waited to resubmit my order.

Around the 10 minute mark, it seemed like stuff was going back online. I went up to order my burger at which point I realized that I no longer had my coupon for 40% off a quarter pounder. Clara recognized that I had waited an extended period of time and said not to worry apologize for the wait and comped to my burger! Sure, a $4 burger is nice, but it was more so the attentiveness that she had to my visit and recognized the importance of everyone everyone’s time. Greatly appreciate you, Clara and hope to see you on my next visit!“
