“Chinook Coffee CO is our go to on the Peninsula. Best Customer Service! Especially with the historic Valorie. But it starts with the ownership. Today she not only created over the top yummy Kona Mocha drinks but helped us out in a jam. We were on our way to a surgical post op appointment in Longview when our battery died at the window. She called her husband he immediately came with jumpers and revived the battery. She spoiled us with fresh warm crispy crumbles from her fresh baked yummy cookies. We made it to Longview, to my appointment and got a new car battery. Now that is customer service!“

“A colleague of mine and I were in Astoria for work and had some time to kill in the morning so we decided to drop by for coffee and breakfast. When we pulled up to the building we were both a little skeptical about whether or not Taps would be a good place for coffee and breakfast considering its dive-bar vibes. We ordered two iced Americanos and two Charizo breakfast burritos and both the drinks and the food were fantastic! Now I wish I lived nearby because I would get their breakfast burritos regularly. I’ll definitely be dropping by here the next time I’m in the area.“

“Fantastic barista, and very efficient I wish I could've remembered her name she was so fast and kind, we ordered 4 drinks 3 being 3 shot lattes and the other a red bull italian soda and it took her only 2 or 3 minutes. And they were amazing! Compared to Kiss of Mist down the street it was like night and day. When we return to Long Beach they have our patronage. <3“

“Hailey was so great. She seemed as if she's been working there for at least 5 years. I like to get an unusual drink. A watermelon Italian soda with no cream, but whip cream on top. I tried it and asked for an extra pump of watermelon and told her she doesn't have to, but it'd really hit the spot if she poured a little of the drink out and filled it with whip cream beacuse I like to mix the whip cream in. She did it without hesitation. It was so good and appreciated. Very good service. I recommend.“

The eggs on the breakfast platter were strange, they had an almost flan-like texture, and a very specific taste I couldn’t place. Overall it was good but we felt a little sick for the rest of the day from the amount of grease.“

“We popped in on Thanksgiving, ordered a coffee and were greeted with delicious donut samples! A lovely treat. The pastry chef prepared an off menu decadent hot chocolate from scratch for my husband. “When they are open and fully operating, it's always been a pleasant experience.
I understand my orders take a little extra time, because they are a little customized.

I look forward to when they can have the staffing bandwidth to stay open past 1:30pm - this has been difficult.

“Placed a mobile order and checked in upon arrival it seemed like a longer wait then normal but they appeared fairly busy. The gentleman who delivered my food to the curbside pickup spot was extremely service oriented and very friendly even offered to ge back inside to get some dog treats for my dog, I felt he was already working his rear off so i declined and he returned into the restaurant.

After I left I reached in to grab a fry out of the bag (fresh fries are the best fries) but realized that there was a pretty big order accuracy discrepancy (they forgot 3 small fries and 3 4PC nuggets) so it required me to return to the restaurant to resolve, upon entering the lobby it confirm my eariler notion that they were busy, the lobby appeared to be clean and maintained. When I went up to the counter the same gentleman who brought me my order immediately came up to the counter and addressed me asking if they had forgotten something, after explaining what was missing he immediately apologized and went to retrieve the forgotten items, he even retrieved some dog treats for my dog. Now to the food quality whelp I have to say everything I ordered was hot, fresh, the burgers were even neatly put together(which seems to be rare nowadays), i mean if the cheese is so far misaligned that you have a 1/2 cheeseburger 1/2 hamburger lol
