“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

“We had a lovely lunch with friends at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very nice, the staff was wonderful. Our server was a lovely lady who did her best to try to teach me some Spanish. We ended up laughing a lot. We had a nice time talking to her. Overall, this was a very nice dining experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.“

“Such amazing food! And the portions are HUGE!!!!! Worth every penny. We get El Primo once every two weeks it seems ha! It’s that good! And look at the size of that burger! We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!“

“Don’t let the unassuming shopping center location deter you. We love it here. The food is so delicious. All the servers that we’ve had are incredibly nice, attentive, and make great recommendations. Either aquachile or ceviche is a must. Both incredibly fresh, flavorful and delicious and have us dreaming of afternoons in Sayulita. We also generally get the fish fillet. They also have great margaritas. If you like sweet and spicy try the chamoy mango margarita. You won’t be disappointed.“

“This is a real "small town" Mexucan food restaurant. It's one of three places to eat in Yamhill, Oregon. It is definitely not one of those "high energy" places like down in SoCal, that's for sure. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The beans are the absolute best I've had from anywhere. Sometimes, the cook is also the order taker and cashier! During busy times, there are usually more staff than one guy! Everyone is friendly and eager to serve. Sometimes, good things take a moment!
Vegetarian options: The veggie burrito is huge and tasty, too!
Dietary restrictions: I'm not sure that there are any "GF" items...
Parking: It's a smallish place. It seats maybe 40 or 50 at best. Most evenings, it's about half full.
Kid-friendliness: Kids sized plates are available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tight, but doable.“
