“Great old time food choices.“

“My Husband, Daughter and I stopped at the Altoona Texas Roadhouse for lunch today. This was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had at a Roadhouse. Our server, Becca, was awesome!! She checked on us often to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious, as usual! And on our way our, 5 different people told us to have a good day, yes I counted :)“

“We love this location in particular. For me, it's a little more personal because this is one of the very few restaurants remaining from my childhood. The staff is so friendly, the salad bar is always stocked and the food is always prepared correctly with good portions. Prices have gone up (naturally), but overall, I feel it's still pretty reasonable. We will return in the future.

Parking: Lots of parking with handicap spots available.

Kid-friendliness: They have a nice variety on the kids 12 and under menu. Kids 5 and under (I believe) eat free or at a flat rate. They offer coloring contests and fun things for the kids to do on certain days of the week.“

“I heard good things about their parmesan crusted chicken, so I decided to give it a try. To sum it up. IT WAS REALLY GOOD! Chicken was tender, and the parmesan cheese topping made it better. I would get this again. Also, I got the baked sweet potato sides and they were done just right.“

“The food wasn't bad. Like I can't say anything we had tasted bad, it was ok to good. My issue was the price. It is pretty pricey. We haven't been to Hoss's in probably 8 years or so, but these prices are on the level with a Texas Roadhouse or Outback a d the food is definitely not that quality. Service was great, and the place was VERY VERY clean.“
