“We have been twice now and the food has been so consistent and delicious!

Ashlynn was our server the first time and took such great care of us. The host (whose name I didn’t get) was so friendly and personable both times as well. Just such a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in until you leave. The second time we came back Ashlynn recognized us when she dropped off our burgers. She’s the best!

Honestly one of the best burgers in state college, plus you get to customize it! And their desserts are insane.

This is our new spot every time we are craving burgers. This beats the field, champs and Quaker steak and lube.

Very accommodating, the manager even loaned my mom a warm shirt since she was cold from getting wet! Very nicely decorated place. I loved the bathroom names. Man Cave and She Shed! Live entertainment Friday and Saturday nights. Very excited to check that out. Karaoke on Thursday night.“

However, there was so much rice in both and less meat, so we found the meat was not sufficient to eat the rice. If Cafe Alina wants improve its services, think about our comments and take some remedial measures. Thanks!“

“What a great family, small town restaurant with BIG portions and bigger hearts! We met the owner, Greg, in town. What a genuinely nice guy. His daughter Hanna, is part of the team! We ordered the wedge. Its a sandwich made with pizza dough. It was too big to eat in one sitting. The special was buy a wedge get fresh cut fries free. The basket of fries was huge too! Definitely worth the money!“

“OMG the food is incredible! I had the arepa pabellón with chicken stew and it's hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. I've only had arepas in Colombia and have never tried Venezuelan arepas; so glad I was able to try them here. The service was super quick and friendly too. I can't wait to come back 🥰“

“What nice owners husband and wife. Upon entering, it was immediately pleasant and informative. An excellent choice of various pizzas and pastas. The pizzas are made and baked right in front of you. The pasta ordered was very tasty and fresh, as was the salad. This is another pizzeria with heart and soul. Definitely recommended!“

“We came for dinner with a group of 16 while in town for a swim meet. Some restaurants struggle with large groups but not this place! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic at making sure everyone had what they needed. The atmosphere was perfect for a group. The main takeaway from the entire group was that the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! Two of the chefs, Alec and Quinn, came out to the table to make sure everything was ok and even answered questions about some of the dishes. The adults were loving the crafted cocktails and the kids loved the desserts! “My husband and I love good food, but Indian cuisine is not one that we are experienced in. Decided the lunch buffet was perfect not only for the cost, but the wide array of curry options to try. We absolutely loved them all. They had a mild to medium spiciness (enough to warm you up but not make you cry or sweat), the flavors were bold and well put together. I had a number of questions that were happily answered by staff. All in all, great experience and will definitely return again.“

“I would still recommend them. However, my sister and I ordered pizzas today. I LOVE truffle oil. I ordered a Kennett Square pizza and they forgot my truffle oil…..made my pizza less than appealing. It did not taste good without the truffle oil!!!! Hopefully if I return they will remember the BEST part of my pizza……truffle oil!!!!!“

“Had lunch there today as part of our office's quest to find the best pizza in State College. I was impressed with their new lunch menu that let's you pick from 3 crusts and any toppings by the slice at a reasonable price. The flakey crust was unconventional but very tasty. I went to the Hi-Way downtown in college but have largely forgotten it but was pleasantly surprised today and will go back for lunch much more often. Will they win our office vote for the best pizza? Not sure but I suspect they are in the running.“

“I visited this restaurant after traveling from Michigan. I took a seat at the bar and I was greeted by the bartended immediately. She was very friendly and had a nice personality. Definitely a good choice for a bartender! The restaurant was nice and clean. I ordered a beer and a steak. Overall the meal was very good. Steak was cooked just right, fries were tasty and the broccoli was good too.
However, while the steak was very good, it had a tendon running through it that I couldn’t even cut with a steak knife. I just had to eat around it. Kind of a bummer.“
