Usually I head into State College when looking for a place to have dinner or lunch but for Mex and Tex Mex Ill be heading into Altoona for now on.“

“When we arrived tye parking lot looked full and we were expecting a long wait to be able to get a table, but we were very quickly seated with no more than maybe a 5 minute wait. The food came quick and was cooked perfectly, even the kids who are overly picky about food loved everything. The cactus blossom was a perfect appetizer, and the rib eyes were tender and juicy with a nice buttery flavor, we will definitely be returning here.“

Simply prepared but the flavors were great.Kid-friendliness: Brought the family in for a nice Sunday afternoon lunch. Place was nice and very clean.“

“First time there yesterday for lunch. We sat at the bar and ordered the NY hot (hot garlic) wings, steak salad and fish sandwich. EVERYTHING was great! The steak on the salad was crazy good, alongside the "merva" dressing (balsamic). Very attentive, friendly bartender. Place overall was very cool. Our only complaint is shame on us for just discovering this place!“

“Probably the best priced and quality wings ive gotten in town. I got delivery and they delivered exactly on time. The food was delivered HOT which most pizza places miss the mark on. The pizza is good and also well priced for the area. That said I've had better pizza from a chain restaurant. But being local and all the pluses I mentioned already they're very a solid choice, I definitely recommend.“

The half chicken was tasty but a little on the dry side also if you don’t care for a sweet bbq sauce have it on the side instead of on the meat. The sweet potato and coleslaw was great although I felt the size of the slaw could have been a little bit larger. Overall I’d eat here again because you can’t base the decision on only one and very first time eating here.“

We had eggrolls, egg drop soup, lo mein, and Generals chicken. Thank you so much for the quality food, large portions and friendliness. We will definitely be back.“

“Brad deserves a raise! He was such a great server, drinks always full, plates always cleared, food was great but Brad really made it an enjoyable experience. He was so sweet to my elderly grandma always making sure she had what she needed and even boxed up her food for her which was absolutely above and beyond.
