“We’ve been enjoying Knickerbockers for years and today the service was a huge disappointment.

To the staff member wearing a pink hat, your position is to assist with customer service. Please don’t make it so obvious that you are annoyed with people who sit down and need a table cleared. Throw your rag down at home and not in disgust at paying customers. Hope your attitude improves“

“We stopped in today, I had the meatball sandwich that was on the special. Cindy had a side salad and we all split an order of onion rings. The meatball hero was great, on fresh hot bread with lots of good sauce and cheese. Cindy loves the house dressing and the salad, was fresh, crisp and cold. The onion rings were as good as I've ever had. If they make them themselves they should sell the batter mix in bags. The new owner Tina and her staff were friendly and attentive. Stop in, or call, and try them out, we will be back.“

“My family has been coming to this location since it opened. It is clean, the food is prepared correctly, it's hot, and the staff do a good job taking care of the customers. It can sometimes get busy, but it's a good sign when a place that sells food is busy.“

“I had a great experience with All Star Pizza! I called in an order for my coworkers and me, and the gentleman who answered—who happened to be the owner—was very nice and pleasant. He let us know they were busy and that delivery would take about an hour, which was completely fine with us.
When our food arrived, it was delivered by the owner himself, and everything was absolutely delicious. About an hour later, he came back to our workplace and surprised us with cannolis because we had to wait for our order!

“You do not go there for the atmosphere, You go there for the food. I have been there many times and I have not had any bad food from them. I drive by that place all the time and didn't even know it was there. We think they are the best in altoona.“

Was a little upsetting when the last time I went there on a Friday and we were supposed to have 5 people in our party and they offered us a high boy where one person has to stand at the end. Or the small room right inside the door that was freezing cold.“

Might I suggest the All American classic go to or perhaps the seasonal Fall Gobbler. Finish off with a creme brulee or tart pie desert“

“First visit there. Pleasantly surprised. Very good variety of food. American, Chinese, Sushi bar, dessert and salad bar. The food was excellent. Someone was always out checking the food, adding and replacing things. The server was pleasant, friendly. Always coming by to take away plates when we were done, refilling drinks . Definitely give it a try. Something for everyone there! Will return again when we are in the area. Bathrooms were also clean and well stocked.“
