“This review comes from New York and Massachusetts. While visiting family we met up for breakfast at kimmie kitchen. The food was delicious. And had kimmie wait on us, she was phenomenal. Highly recommend . You will not find a place that has such family atmosphere and amazing food. Can't wait to go back for another visit will be stopping in again.“

“I love Watami! I make sure to visit every time I come home to Johnstown. The sushi is always delicious and fresh and the staff is so nice. Portions are always big and filling.“

“We didn’t eat here, only had drinks. The seasonal drink specials were tasty and they had quite a few great beers on tap. There were many brands offered for all liquors. The one bartender was doing her best to service the bar and the dinner patrons with drinks.“

“TRULY enjoyed my time there. The bar has updated decor and lives up to its name as a sports bar. A bunch of TVs and general sporty feel inside. Marc and Keith were exceptionally friendly with the drinks being reasonably priced and strong. Highly recommend for a game night. And the "crack" fries were DELICIOUS!!! Definitely a good spot for a date as well as they have smaller tables away from the bar so you can engage in conversation.

“Very kind owner that does a one-man job. He does everything himself including hosting, cooking, and cleaning. Because of this, please be patient when you visit. Also, he is a bit hard of hearing so you need to speak up a bit so he can hear you. I highly recommend this restaurant. “Go there once a week with family & we love this place. The food is so so good & the waitress Rosie is a dream. She is so nice & friendly & knows what us regulars like. Any food you order is going to be delicious. They have a chicken dish that has mashed potatoes & corn with stripes of chicken on top with cheese & they bake it & add chix gravy on the side & OMG it is amazing. Their grilled ham & cheese with onion petals are great for lunch. White pizza & wings are delicious also. If you never been there, you must go. You won't be disappointed.“

“Great sandwich but I don't understand why they told the paper into the sandwich. Twice this week the paper was folded inside the sub and the meat came out of the sandwich when I unwrapped it. Extremely difficult to eat the tuna sub that way.“

“I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Their service to us was terrific! Our waitress was very good! The food was great, especially the chicken tenders, that went over well and quickly. “Was passing through the Johnstown area . I seen the Em’s sub sign . I had to stop and get a seafood sub with provolone and jalapeños. Wow! Absolutely delicious. My first seafood sub since they had left Altoona, and that was along time ago. My plan was to save half for the lunch the next day . I toasted it in 5 minutes. ?“

“Our first time today. we are not into sushi so had the "American" dishes. Hubby had grilled Capri with shrimp. And I had the Cordon Bleu. Both were awesome although I have to say that I'll have the Capri next time!! Our server, Renee, was super friendly and attentive, let us take our time with no rushing. Very pleasant experience!“

“This was the first time at this restaurant. The food was very tasty. I ordered the chicken basket, I was surprised at how large the chicken tenders were and cooked perfectly, the fries were also good. Nothing against bar food, but it was typical "bar food" it was very good though. Had a pitcher of beer which unfortunately wasn't very cold to begin with and just got even warmer more quickly due to the fact it was ridiculously hot inside the restaurant. Apparently, the air conditioner was not in working order. It almost made it unbearable to actually enjoy the meal. I'm sure they'll try to remedy that soon. I will say however the young lady who was our server and the other servers were very friendly, attentive and polite, a big plus for any establishment in my book.“

“THIS PLACE IS A BLAST FROM THE PAST (....if you were a kid in the 80s-90s)!!
This place brings back memories of elementary school birthday parties and Friday night dinners with my grandparents. There's a fun house mirror near the restrooms and a game room in the back. I don't know that this place has ever been updated, and I kinda hope it never does!!!
We'd never been here but we're new to the area and we've been trying everything. I wish I'd caught our waitresses name because she was lovely! I inquired about their HALUSKI and she brought me a sample. (It's the egg noodles kind but still delicious!) The Mac and cheese was heavenly too. Our burgers were HUGE! Everything was great and we will definitely be back!“

The food is terrific. This was my favorite restaurant as a kid because I loved the paper tablecloths. I recently moved back and decided to give it a try. I had heard they went out of business so I wasn't too hopeful. I was WRONG! The food is still great! We've gone a few times now and we always get the bell pepper soup as an appetizer so we can dip out bread in it. Try it!“
