“Every time I visit Jtown I have to stop here and get soft shell tacos and a glass of Jtown Brown. Only issue is the space is very small, around 4 tables and seating at the bar. Took me awhile to realize "Craft Modern Kitchen" next door has the same menu and drinks available, with a lot more seating. Everything I've had so far is absolutely delicious. I wish they'd open a branch in Altoona. Whenever I visit I get extra tacos to take home to reheat later in the air fryer. They're magic in your mouth.“
“Another great family restaurant in Johnstown. This place has perfected their food in the 30+ years passing down from generations to generations. We order wings, salad and the Friday Haddock special. Everything was great. We will be back!“

“Whether your passing through the area or looking for a nice place for lunch, dinner or a cold beverage, Wooly's is a must stop. I've heard alot about it but today was my first actual visit and I'm not sorry. From the outside, it looks like a nice place but the curb appeal does not do this place the justice it deserves. It looks small but that's deceiving.....its huge inside. The establishment is very clean and we were greated immediately by staff. Beyond friendly and inviting. The board said, try a burger they're amazing. I did just that and the board was spot on. I got the Irish stew, twila (burger) and fries. Portions were large, food unique and homemade and full of deliciousness. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our bartender/server, Rennie I believe, was just as awesome as the food and establishment. Look forward to seeing Wooly's again real soon and suggest you give this place a try, you won't be sorry. It made our frequent list.“
“My girlfriend and I came in for lunch and I ordered nine sweet devil wings, six cracked, and three Buffalo ranch. Instead of the cracked they gave me garlic parmasean and instead of the Buffalo ranch they gave me three honey mustard. It was good but I didn't get what I fully ordered and I really wanted to try the tolgate cracked wings. The waitress was extremely nice and we waited about 30-40 minutes. My girlfriend enjoyed her salad though so that's good.“
“I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Their service to us was terrific! Our waitress was very good! The food was great, especially the chicken tenders, that went over well and quickly. So, if you are looking for a place to get together, I would recommend The Crows Nest! We definitely will do it there next year! Thank you, again! Rosemarie Reed“
“It's been quite a few years since we've been to Pappy's so wasn't sure what to expect this visit. The food was delicious and actually very very cheap (less than $40 for 2 adults and 1 kid for 3 full meals with sides and drinks) and the portions are way more than anyone could possibly eat alone. 2 of us got the chicken parm and the other got chick alfredo and all 3 of us had enough left over to have a second full meal each. The service was very exceptional, with wait staff being very friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Leah, checked on our meals and drinks at perfect times where none of us were waiting for drinks or anything else we might have needed. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable even when they were almost packed full of customers. We also spent some time in the arcade which I can remember being much bigger when I was a kid going there but then again we went to a restaurant not an arcade. Highly recommend this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Small arcade with a few older games that kids enjoy.“
“Staff is friendly...food is awesome... atmosphere is relaxed and fun. All around great place for friends and family to get together!Parking: Side lot is large. Also has limited parking in front of building. Handicapped accessible parking.Kid-friendliness: We've had young kids with us with no problems. Staff is great with them.“
“What a wonderful experience! The food is excellent, a beautiful historical building, the bar area is the old-fashioned bar back. The staff and patrons are very friendly, the type of place that no one is a stranger. The family that owns the hotel are great. They make everyone feel like a part of the family. They annual fundraiser they host for the Humane Society is outstanding, with a great basket raffle all to help our ? ? pets. These folks at the Winber Hotel should have an extra star in each category plus one more for community, and in that category, they deserve big ?. I look forward to eating there often. My personal thanks and appreciation to a Community Treasure!!!“
