“Pub 333 in Oakmont is hands down my top choice when it comes to vegetarian pizza. Since I don’t eat meat, I’m always looking for places that still bring full flavor, and they nailed it. The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors makes it one of the best veggie pizzas I’ve had. It’s not just the food, either. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes you want to stay and enjoy yourself. When a place gets both the food and the energy right, that’s worth a review from me. If you’re looking for a spot with great options, good people, and a relaxed atmosphere head over to Pub 333!“

“My friend and I stopped in on our way back home from Pittsburgh. He said he was there once and they had excellent wings. He wasn't lying. They are whole, jumbo wings and they fell off the bone. Kaylee, our server and bartender was wonderful. The cook, I think it was Joe. They were out of a certain wing sauce, but he made a new batch, just for me.
I'll be stopping again soon.“

“Best place to eat near gibsonia. Delicious everything! Sauce, leek soup, pasta, pizza, etc. One problem : kitchen closes early, at 9... we finished eating in time, then server got annoyed with us when all we wanted was another beer. Told us bar was closed also. Other times I've been there I was told to continue to order beer even after kitchen closed. Very uncomfortable. Only 9:00.“

“My girlfriend and I, and a few friends (party of 6) visited Killian’s for the first time after spending the afternoon at the Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s new facility, just a couple minutes away. I can’t say enough about the delicious, homemade meals we enjoyed there, including the many vegetarian choices. They have wide menu for all tastes, and when the plates come, you see a hefty helping of really old-style restaurant food. Be patient though, at Killian’s, it may take a little longer than other places to get your plates, but you are in for a wonderful dining experience in this very local establishment. (Our server was excellent too!!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“

What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. Respect should never depend on how often someone visits, who they are, or what they look like — professionalism is the standard, not the exception. As patrons, we notice the small things — tone, body language, and how we are treated when we walk through the door. Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. Because you never know who is sitting in your seats, and you never know who is quietly witnessing the level of professionalism being offered. Respect is remembered. Kindness is remembered. Ordered my burger medium rare and was cooked exactly as I requested (a little blood inside). Juicy and delicious!!! Absolutely devoured it! “Great Food and Atmosphere, Some Service Concerns I recently moved to the Braddock Hills area and was excited to revisit this spot, which used to be Folie’s a few years back. The food here is absolutely delicious, and it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, enjoy a margarita, and relax. That said, I’ve had a few experiences with a particular staff member that were concerning. While most of the team has been friendly and welcoming, However, barmaid (JESS who served me February the 7th around 1:49 p.m.) has been noticeably short and dismissive on a couple of occasions. For example, there were times when she rolled her eyes or responded curtly when I greeted her, even though previous visits had been pleasant. I even had an instance where my drink was placed at the very edge of the bar in a way that felt intentionally difficult. I did call to bring this to the manager’s attention to address it, no and she allegedly answered the phone as the manager, and to my experience the manager is a gentleman as well as the owner. I wanted to share it here as well. I’ve spoken with other patrons who’ve noted that her personality can sometimes affect the overall experience. While I understand everyone can have an off day, consistent professionalism and courtesy are essential in customer service, especially in a neighborhood gem like this one. Overall, I truly enjoy this restaurant—the food, ambiance, and most of the staff make it a wonderful place. “Visiting Pittsburgh over the weekend and couldn’t miss our Buckeyes vs TTUN. Mike’s Beer Bar was recommended, and it was hands down one of the best game day bar experiences we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incredible, drink menu (both on tap and cans) showing a plethora of choices to satisfy anyone, and great food. The staff was second to none and very friendly as well. Atmosphere was light, like I came with one friend felt like I knew everyone else I encountered. Good music choices were made on the jukebox. I enjoyed myself.“

“Starting this review off on a positive note- I only stepped foot into this establishment because the bartender, Kat, is sweet as can be. Anywhere she works, she’s bringing the vibe. Where New Amsterdam lost me was advertising “Jumbo Fresh Wings” but serving us party wings aka wing dings. I believe it was the kitchen manager who dropped our food off to us. She placed our food down and I was confused so I hollered after her “hey! Wait, we ordered jumbo wings. These are the jumbo wings?” to which she responded over her shoulder “I just make what they order” and kept walking. We were 2 of 9 people in there on a Tuesday night. She could’ve at the very least stopped to speak to the paying customer(s) or grabbed her boss. The saving grace is that the flavors were good. Not sure if it’s worth paying $1.50 per party wing or the subpar service from the kitchen staff, but good enough. Very misleading and bad business practices. Either drop the price or serve people what they ordered.“

The only divine stumble was the Crispy Cauliflower which, drowned in sauce from the start, lost all its crunchy dignity; the spiritual lesson here is that the sauce always goes on the side. To accompany the sin, the Pious Monk Dunkel beer fully lived up to high expectations. That night the staff was glaringly short-handed, but Nicole multiplied herself and took fantastic care of us. They accept card payments, though they nail you with a 2.75% fee for the privilege.“
