“We stopped in and were so impressed! They have DELICIOUS gluten free chicken tenders! They have a reserved fryer for just gluten free items. Our server let us know that the owner's daughter has celiac, so many items can be modified to be gluten free. The environment was so fun and all the staff were friendly. Can't wait to come back!“

“Visited for our first time tonight. We’ve been talking about going here for at least a year and never stopped in. Boy were we missing out. The food is excellent. Big portions if that’s what you’re looking for. One portion can feed two. And the cream puff is amazing! It fed four of us. Don’t sleep on this restaurant like we did“

“Place is always consistent and does a good job with the food. I always enjoy their hoagies and pizza and order it a lot. I can’t say the is food is amazing or anything because it’s not but it does the job when you’re hungry for an ok price and it’s pretty good so 4 is respectable for that.“
“I I love this place.. All of the bar maid's are so nice. I have a few favorite's like Michelle, Jody, and Elise. Maxwells is a clean quiet peaceful little spot that go can go to and have a drink or two and don't have to worry about looking over your shoulder or watching your back while you do so..“

“Clean and good service. They have pool, darts, and outdoor seating. You can order food at the bar from Portofinos next door and they bring it over so you can eat at gormans. Their food is amazing and so reasonably priced, they also have different drink specials everyday, and many of them. The bartender Sam is a sweetheart and great at her job. She recognized me and my boyfriend by the second time we came in, remembered what drinks we got, and shes great at making conversation. We will definitely keep coming back“

“This was our first time here and the breakfast/lunch bar was open. it was phenominal. great quality of food, tons of choices in buffet style containers to keep it hot. Everything from made to order omlettes, waffles, sausage, salad, pot roast, mashed potatoes, tender breakfast potatoes. my husband said it was the best omlette he has ever had. he had the Irish Omlette. Great staff. This was a huge win. very comfortable seating. The chef was also amazing“

“Our first time in Pittsburgh visiting from St. Louis to watch some baseball. Food and atmosphere was amazing… Service was great. We highly recommend. Dre was the bartender and she was so good. The Pittsburgh cheesesteak was delicious.!“
“Visiting Pittsburgh over the weekend and couldn’t miss our Buckeyes vs TTUN. Mike’s Beer Bar was recommended, and it was hands down one of the best game day bar experiences we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incredible, drink menu (both on tap and cans) showing a plethora of choices to satisfy anyone, and great food. The staff was second to none and very friendly as well. Already looking forward to our next visit!“

“We were the last people in on a Friday night and hungry. Dining room was empty so we sat at the bar. By the time we were done, we were the only patrons. (They close at 9). The owners were working and made us feel very welcome. We had a nice visit, the food was good (fish sandwiches, fries and coleslaw...large portions), and price was nice. We never felt rushed which we appreciated. Good place for a casual meal...full menu etc. I recommend and we will be back.“

“I go the visit this boom ? bar and grill EVERYTIME I am in Pittsburgh.Great food, drinks are amazing, free pool, and darts. They have a music box to play your own music if you like.Saturday night live Dj.Bingo as well on some night. Smoking out doors.FAST SERVICE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE.I feel like you’re always greeted with a smile. They have zero tolerance for ignorance will throw you out of your acting up. They also make you feel safe because they check everyone at the door. NOTHING IS ALLOWED INSIDE ..So you FREE SAFE AND FREE TO ENJOY YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES..
