“Very kind owner that does a one-man job. He does everything himself including hosting, cooking, and cleaning. Because of this, please be patient when you visit. Also, he is a bit hard of hearing so you need to speak up a bit so he can hear you. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our food came out very quickly and the interior of the restaurant was very neat. 5 stars for me!“

“Went for lunch with my daughter got the lunch special. Salad, cavatelli with meat sauce, wood fired margarita pizza, a cup of wedding soup, 2 gelatos, and 2 drinks. Could not believe how good and cheap. $23 and change for both of us. Definitely will go back!“

Parking: Not the most well-maintained parking lot that is not Capri's fault

“i honestly think this might be the best restaurant in Johnstown. The fried mozzarella was amazing. Better than the high-end restaurant's mozzarella. The salad was good but can live without it(the side salad that is) But the bread. it tastes exactly like how my mom used to make it. It was soft, warm, and tasty. one of the best things I tried for being so simple. I was hoping for alfredo but didn't see it so I got the garlic oil pasta. It was good on its own but REALLY good with parmasan on it. it tasted like a less creamy version of alfredo“

“This is the best pizza I have eaten in Johnstown. Nice and gooey. Topping proportions are good. Flavor is excellent. The Margherita Pizza tastes like something I ate in Rome.“

“Ordered 2 Stromboli 's My Stromboli I wanted everything it came with except no ham & wanted double pepperoni. For some reason they put ham on my order. It was good, except the ham tasted old. WHEN I WENT TO EAT IT I HAD TO REHEAT IT CUZ IT WAS A LITTLE WARM JUST WARM I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WAS IN THE MIDDLE THERE WAS NONE ON THE ENDS IT WAS REALLY DOUGHY. NOT ENOUGH PEPPERONI.. “I will always prefer the Italian Oven over any Olive Garden any day of the week. The Italian Oven tastes more like authentic Italian cuisine and has a much better taste overall, in my opinion of course. But it doesn't taste mass produced and has more flavor I think. The proportions are more than generous as well, I don't think I've ever left without a to go box. Would definitely recommend!“

“To start, do yourself a favor and try escargot for your first time! Any of the beef options are delicious(though I get the marinated tips) and always pair with a side of the PA famous “Captiva Sauce”! All homemade and all traditional and delicious. On top of that the tiramisu is to die for. All in all you can miss here of the menu and the specials are always changing. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GIVE IT A GO!!“

“Couldn't be Happier! Had a Wonderful 90th Birthday party for my Father! The owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had OUTSTANDING customer service! The owner was just so sweet and the staff so kind and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Definitely 10/10 for service and the food was WONDERFUL!
