“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“My husband and I decided to go here on a whim and it was delightful! It's a cozy restaurant with a colorful atmosphere. My husband and I got the Turkish breakfast for 2 with the menemen and 2 Sultan's coffees. The menemen got me (a notorious tomato hater) eating and loving them! It is also just so much food for a reasonable price! The sultanas coffee was also pretty good. I never had Turkish coffee before and it was strong and flavorful. It also comes with a piece of baklava and Turkish delight. The baklava was amazing and so was the delight (not sure I'd give up my family for more delights but very close, those that read the chronicles of Narnia will understand). I would gladly come back here again and also try their sister restaurant across the street.“

“Bosphorus has the tastiest lamb kebabs, as well as an interesting selection of different types of grilled lamb and chicken, served with a delicious salad, sauce and rice. There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.“

“This Lebanese restaurant offers delicious and affordable food. We started with warm pita bread and babaganoush, a roasted eggplant dip with a tangy flavor. The vegetarian grape leaves were a standout, filled with flavorful rice. We also enjoyed the Mujadarra, lentils and rice topped with caramelized onions, and the spinach feta pie. The service was excellent, with the staff taking good care of us. They had some really nice looking Balklavas that u brought home, as we were very full at the restaurant but did not want to pass up on the chance to taste their signature dessert. The only downside is limited parking, so it's best to go during off-peak times. Despite its small size, the restaurant can accommodate about 10 families at a time. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to get a table without one. Don't miss out on this gem for delicious Lebanese vegetarian cuisine!“

The 2 different meals they had at the restaurant were both exemplary and I was very proud to tell them we eat there often. “Fantastic food, excellent service. We had the mixed meat plate. Hummus was great baba ganoush was excellent, smoky flavor and properly seasoned. Rice, also perfectly seasoned with some toasted almonds for a nice textural element. Combine everything together (one dip, one meat, rice) for a perfect bite.

Service was top notch. Waiter/chef/likely owner was up front. Told us things would take a little than usual. We informed him we needed to hurry and he rushed our order a little. Not a “destination restaurant” just great food and great service at a small strip mall restaurant nook.“

“The Forge has been an absolute staple in Pittsburgh for the past seven years. I’ve visited at least fifty times, and every single meal has been nothing short of incredible. Their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Feta Feta Bang Bang, are outstanding. The Tuna Steak, grape leaves, hummus, and Old World Falafel (truly the best you’ll ever have) are all top-notch.

When it comes to cocktails, The Forge easily stands out as the best in Pittsburgh—by far. I’ve explored countless spots, and this place is number one. The drinks are crafted with so much care. They are unmatched.

The service is consistently phenomenal, It’s family-owned and operated and you can see the passion come through in the atmosphere and every ingredient of everything they put out. The setting is both welcoming and dimly lit. Every visit is an experience.

I can’t recommend The Forge enough—it’s a true gem.

Parking: There’s a lot designated to the forge to the left of the building. I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. There’s plenty of street parking too.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh! It’s not fancy inside, but the food is delicious. The lamb shish kebab entree is one of my top favorite meals. Their mint yogurt sauce is divine. We recently left Pittsburgh but I would make a point to come back to Turkish kebab house the next time I’m in town! Do yourself a favor and get the baklava too!“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). I recommend Delanie's to everyone in hopes of it becoming their favorite spot too!“

“I placed a takeout order at the Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh) location on 3/29, around 5pm. I live in SE Virginia and my son’s father lives in Aspinwall, we were meeting 1/2 way in Maryland for spring break so I asked him if he’d pick up and take out order for me at the FC restaurant, and bring it with him and our son. (Nothing in my area compares to Aladdin’s!!). When I called, an amazing woman answered the phone, I asked ONLY if they could put the sauce on the side for my Shawarma so it wasn’t soggy 8 hours later when I’d be home to eat! Without second thought, she offered to make both of the Shawarma’s “deconstructed” with everything separate so I could “build” the wraps myself!! I also ordered the Dawali! When my ex handed me the bag and went to the cooler to get my food, I noticed what the crew had done…. They put everything in separate takeout containers and even wrote instructions on the Dawali container for me to heat, when I got home!! Everything was separate and the amount of extra time that was spent on the order was above and beyond!! It may seem simple, but for them to take the time and effort to make sure my food was just as good as it would have been if I ate in the store was really refreshing!! So THANK YOU to the Fox Chapel location for packing my order with such attention and my ex will be bringing a cooler with Shawarma’s and Diwali’s each time we meet in Maryland!!!“

She loves falafal wrap from Aladin.
We both are vegetarian so I can't comment on meat menu but falafal, hummas the hot souce and tea I love most.
In short I want to say food is very fresh and tasty, service is good and very Cosy friendly vibe.
The only part I didn't like is the parking situation here that stop me from giving 5 star review.“

“This local, family owned and run Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant is worth the trip. The daughter was a delightful, helpful server, and her mother does the cooking in the kitchen. The ambience was simple but pleasant, and the tables, dining room and bathrooms were clean. The tabboolee (I’ve seen it spelled other ways, too, but this is how their menu spells it) was some of the best I’ve had. It was absolutely fresh and homemade with a perfectly balanced lemony dressing. The salad was really, really good having some sort of it grated feta on top, something we had never had before. Our favorite was the moussaka. It was awesome with a fluffy and creamy bechamel type sauce on top. We couldn’t stop making happy yummy oohs and ahs while eating it. The portions were very generous at a fair price making the meal a great value.“

“I had a very mixed experience dining at this restaurant. I visited with my spouse, and while the food was delicious and the ambiance calm and soothing, what happened afterward was disappointing. After enjoying our meal, I paid the bill and left. Surprisingly, the staff took the bill back from me before I left. I assumed everything was in order and didn’t think much of it at the time.
However, a couple of weeks later, I checked my credit card statement and discovered that I had been overcharged for the dine-in. I contacted the restaurant to request a copy of my bill for clarification. They initially promised to look into it, but a few days later, they informed me that they do not retain copies of bills for more than a week.
Without the receipt, I am now unable to file a complaint with my bank to dispute the overcharge. This experience has left me wondering whether restaurants can modify bills even after they have been settled by the customer.“

“Really nice place for a good time and tasty food! I am actually quite impressed with how tasty the food was here. This place serves a variety of food items, from American burgers to Middle Eastern wraps. It seems like they are best known for their saj, so that's what I ordered. I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma saj with French fries.

It was delicious! The price was quite fair for the decently large portion. The chicken was cooked well and had nice spices with it. There was a sauce to put it all together. It was creamy and truly delicious. Some nice pickles for crunch, and the wrap itself was also pretty good. Very nice!

The French fries were kind of mediocre. They didn't have a ton of flavor to them and weren't that crispy. I would have probably been fine without them, or if I could, would have traded them for another side.

All in all, the main course (the saj) was delicious! I definitely recommend this place for some cheap food and a nice experience.

Food , warmth, service and gentlemen there were amazingly pleasant and welcoming. I went back ti have dinner and my fav Jackie O coffee and desert. “The sandwiches were exceptional! But other things were lacking. Be careful to order water because they are shilling bottled Fiji water - the tap in USC is perfectly fine lol. No need to ship water across the planet when we have plenty here in PA, which is in strong contrast to their mission statement per their website: “We support local farms and strive to buy as much locally sourced food ingredients as possible.” The chips on my plate look like a decent portion but there were guests at my table who received half as many - I thought that was a cheap touch. Finally, there was some very clear tension between FOH and BOH on the day we were there which led to the servers being visibly stressed and upset to the point of not providing great service. Looking forward to trying their dinner service!

“Over Eden hosted an incredible surprise 30th birthday party for me last night. The food and drinks were incredible and so reasonably priced for the amazing atmosphere that was provided. Our server Cody was so attentive and friendly, patiently took photos and made sure all of our guests needs were met. I tried tastes of the Cajun fries, artichoke spinach dip with pita, calamari and friend shrimp (LOVED the shrimp so fresh), pierogis (if you get angry when ordering them at other restaurants and being handed mrs ts these are perfect home made pillows for you), and the Korean short rib. This was the best birthday of my life and highly attributed by this venue and their staff.“
