“I would give 5 stars for the food if I could. I’ve been there several times and the vegetables and sushi are always fresh. The service is quick, it’s like a fast food place but with healthier options. I usually get the steamed vegetables with white sauce and white rice and a MAC roll. I am gluten free as well as vegan, and had no problem eating here. My family enjoyed their food as well.“

“Stopped in on a whim after shopping at Trader Joe’s and thought sushi sounded good. We were pleasantly surprised after not knowing really anything about this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and had an awesome vibe to it - we were seated immediately and it was a Friday night! Server was quick & accommodating…she also gave us recommendations for most popular sushi rolls. Their menu in general is extensive, so much so that we ordered 3 more rolls than we needed because everything sounded so good. We also got one of their ramen bowls (also many options on their ramen menu!) which was TO DIE FOR. We talked about it for a solid week after! All of our food was so delicious, we feel like we found such a gem of a spot! We’ve already talked about how we’ll be making more Trader Joe’s tripped solely to come back to Kumo 🙌🏼 Highly recommend!!!! Wish I took photos to post but we ate everything so quick and our phones were the last thing we were focusing on after one bite. It’s also BYOB which is always nice!“

“It was my first time here, and I loved everything I had to eat that I ate. I was so full I did leave a little bit of food. I generally don't like to waste anything but was very little left really no reason to take home. There is a lot of variety and selection to try. The staff were very polite and very nice and felt like a friendly environment it was an enjoyable, pleasant experience. I will definitely be returning to try more food and have more of my favorite foods.“

It was like getting 2 different meals in one [white creamy "mayo" shrimp AND brown sauce chicken] and both were delicious! I enjoyed the fried crab and cheese wonton [Crab Rangoon] as well. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

Also the spicy “Hunan chicken” is one of our favorites. I also love how fresh the veggies in any food we order here are, they are perfectly cooked too! “We hesitated briefly about hiring a "day of" planner for our daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. We are so happy we did, and that we hired Ang. She helped us in so many ways, I can't even begin to mention them all. We just knew everything would go smoothly, and it did! A perfect example is what a disabled guest shared with me: Ang greeted her at the reception venue, asked her where she wanted to sit during the cocktail hour, and what she wanted to eat and drink, and she checked back with her several times. That guest is so appreciative of being treated that way. The icing on the cake was that she drove my wife and I home at 1:00 a.m. after she gathered all of the important things we needed to take with us. She is just the best.“
