“I love this place. It is a place I will go back to because I need to get a crab boil. The vibe was great, they let you airdrop your music, and we were all singing together. This was all happening during happy hour before an Eagles game. The drinks offered for happy hour were great, and the appetizers were delicious and shareable. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because a couple of kids were running around near the bar area. It was a little unnerving.“

“A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.

“We got the miso Caesar, Italian hoagie, bahn mi, and which ever non alc fruity drink with the passion fruit in it. The miso Caesar salad was delish until I connected the smell to a memory which was ~vintage Tupperware~. I couldn’t eat anymore after that but before I had that thought it was delish. Sandos were amazing and the drink was yummy! Service was perf per usual.“

“One of the best places to become a regular at great drink, great food, great prices. Staff, especially management staff, are lovely and care about their customers. Alone? No problem, they've got cool and interesting people behind the bar who want to chat. With a group? They've got tables for you.

Parking: Street larking available on Frankford Ave and side streets. Easy to find parking after 4-5pm.

“Ordered a pizza for takeout. Pizza was not bad coming from a bar. It is a thin crust pizza with the right amount of cheese, soft and flaky. No seasoning on the pizza and the tomato sauce a little sweet. However, it is cooked perfectly with no burnt marks. Noticed they had Miller Light cans for $3.00. The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. Keep up the Great work!!“

“It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!! “I'd say I've been coming here for just over 20 years now. I enjoy the people and the atmosphere here. It is a beer and shot bar, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, the food especially the homemade soups are great. You can always meet up with friends or make new ones and have a good time, nice shuffle board, shuffle bowl, and slot chance games here great selection of music on the jukebox. Drinks are affordable and the place has been here over 50 years.“

The roast pork hoagie Chickie style was absolutely delicious! The pork was cooked perfectly and so tender and juicy.I'm normally not a big fan of old bay seasoning, but I got forced to try the crab fries. Man, that cheese sauce with the fries is amazing, I was shocked how much I love the fries.Next time I am in Philly, I will have to stop back in to a Chickie & Pete's for sure!“
