“Been there a few times now after discovering it a couple weeks ago and had a different bartender each time. Without fail, each bartender has been exceptionally welcoming and kind! Haven't gotten food but it does look good. Week nights seem to be quiet for a beer and very little wait on the pool tables. Went on a Friday and the place was buzzing, love to see it! Pool tables being $1.50/game is great compared to so many other places.

Can't recommend this place enough. This is my friends and I's new favorite spot.“

“The Bridesburg Pub for years is a fun place to go. There is always people that you know in there. This particular late day into night visit was awesome with our bartender, Tony, who we were all meeting for the first time. He was very friendly, attentive to our drinks, just a great guy!. My girlfriend and I were on a Chambord kick and I was impressed that they had that liqueur and Tony was no stranger in making my Chambord Sours and Debbie’s French Martini’s.

Parking: We found spots right by the Bridesburg Pub. It was Labor Day Weekend also.“

“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. Keep up the Great work!!“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!! “This place is cool! Our band played there with one other band, and the sound was amazing! The atmosphere is super-comfortable. Just like a neighborhood hangout spot with pool tables, darts, lots of TVs with the game on. Real wood paneling - like a really welcoming, homey feel. All decorated for the holidays. You can just relax right into the place. And Archie is the coolest. The soundman and the bartender also were both stellar. Just a really cool place.“

“I'd say I've been coming here for just over 20 years now. I enjoy the people and the atmosphere here. It is a beer and shot bar, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, the food especially the homemade soups are great. You can always meet up with friends or make new ones and have a good time, nice shuffle board, shuffle bowl, and slot chance games here great selection of music on the jukebox. Drinks are affordable and the place has been here over 50 years.“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“
