“My husband and I truly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Foggy Mountain Lodge. It was better than staying at a hotel. The grounds were beautiful, and the location was quiet. Our room was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed eating our breakfast in the Cedar Lodge living room with the beautiful stone fireplace. The rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend this beautiful place.“

“This place is great! A good bit of restaurants are closed Monday in the Ligonier area, and I ended up here due to that fact. My grandmother and I don’t get much time together, and we like to sit and talk after we eat. We usually spend 2-3 hours just sitting and talking. When we finished our food and paid our bill, the staff took great care of us well after that. We ended up staying 3 hours and they kept our drinks filled and checked up on us the whole time. It made my time with her that much more special. I will be returning, and this will be a regular spot for the both of us now. To my waitress and the host thank you so much for your time and attention you were wonderful. To the owner you have a great staff, and they reflect on your leadership in a great way.“

Chelsea was very pleasant, friendly, and courtesy. She is what every server should be like. Her interaction and attentiveness made our evening out a very pleasant one.“

“We ate here for the first time yesterday and everything we had was good! The vegetable soup was good and the bowl was a substantial portion. My bacon bleu burger was served on a gourmet roll and was done to perfection and really tasty. The drink I ordered had muddled watermelon with lime juice and moonshine. I would get it again. Pricing was what you would expect to pay. Lastly, the hostess, Sammy Jo was a perfect addition to the place. She gave you an "at home" feel, plenty of guests seemed to know her personally and she loved what she was doing- hard to find these days. Kudos to the staff. We will be back!!“

The recommended wine was a nice Spanish Tempranillo, and the New York strip was cooked to perfection with a great sauce mashed potatoes and veggies! For dessert, the Praline bourbon cheesecake was freaking great! Our waiter, Alan, was so attentive and on point with recommendations and timing! Wow! We were so delighted and really pleased with the price too!“
