“This place is great; Tom and his staff are fantastic. They expanded the place recently and it looks really good! The sampler appetizer is really tasty with the cauliflower, feta, grape leaves and hummus!! Best feta and grape leaves I have ever had! The gyro is delicious.“
“Outstanding establishment with a wonderful owner who takes an active role. The food is exceptional, and as first-time visitors who were traveling, he generously offered us complimentary extras to try. Skip the common chain restaurants in this area and visit this place instead. It offers perfectly authentic Mediterranean cuisine. These people are impressive.“
“The staff is incredibly knowledgable, courteous, patient, helpful and kind. This was my first time at their place in the Allentown Market -- it won't be my last. I had a lamb gyro for lunch--delicious!! The food is wonderful, tasty, and healthy. I can't wait to return. I am also happy to know that they have catering available.“
“There aren’t many places downtown with the great taste and consistency like Wafa’s. Omelets are fulfilling and made with fresh ingredients. I’m now a regular. On top on great food the staff is very friendly and always able to address any issues I’ve had. Their online ordering also makes it easy to order ahead, pay, then pickup without having to wait in line. I’ve also had their burgers and they are amazingly delicious but I don’t think many people know about them. Fries are crispy and good too. Give them a try!“
“Damascus makes some of the most delicious and best authentic Middle Eastern food that you will find in the greater Lehigh Valley. The food if so incredibly rich with flavors. I grew up eating in a middle eastern home with lots of authentic cooking and I promise you that this is the spot to grab some food if middle eastern cuisine is what you are in the mood for. The owners are so kind and lovely too!“
“Fantastic chicken shawarma, excellent hummus, solid babaghannouj. Friendly owners, fast service. Going back later this week for more.(Day #2)Very good beef shawarma; excellent fried cauliflower.(Day #3)Very good sujuk roll. Kebab platter, though, is phenomenal. Definitely going back for that AND the chicken shawarma, though not for one meal -- each one is freakin' huge.“
“Walked into the market looking for a quick, pre-concert bite to eat. They had us at baba ganoush! It was delicious, as was the wrap and nachos were had as well. Service was a bit slow- there was only one person cooking and the girl at the counter had to package and take orders. The line was longer than any other restaurant in there- so good for Zahra and the other concert goers with good taste buds.“
“WOOOW!!! This place has such quality flavors at such an affordable price. The salad is AMAZING, fries hit, lamb and beef platter A++ and the fried chicken is top tier!! So good to see these options halal as well.Mango lassi does not disappoint, so creamy, so mango. We’ve all been let down by someone’s ‘lassi’ at least once and when i say this one is worth it, you should know….Takeout is fast and efficient. Usually ready in 15 minutes. They have an app too, and give discounts and points to returning customers with or without the app. The website remembers your email! Keeping up with the times :,-)I have also eaten in and love the vibe too. Beautiful wooden tables and the owner has good taste in art.10 out of 5 this place is a blessing.Vegetarian options: Falafel and mango lassi are great for vegetarians. And there fries are stellarDietary restrictions: Halal!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp!“
