“I had the chance to visit the Greek Taverna restaurant and I had great experience, I loved the cozy space and not to mention the food. They are all so delicious and else the restaurant is one of my favorites! I’m sure You will love it too!“
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️“
“Food... Amazing!! Service... Fantastic!! Atmosphere... Cozy!!I highly recommend this restaurant. I enjoy the delicious food (especially the Salmon Freekah Salad and Pistachio Sticky Bun) and the Brown Butter Artichoke Borekas are everything!!! After a year of coming here, I've tried nearly everything on the menu ? Owner, Chef Mike Solomonov is incredibly generous!!!“
“I’ve been to other Cava locations, but I must say this one is the cream of the crop. Normally my order is a bit complicated, but Zaniah, Christina, and boy Joe really looked out for us. They were personable and very funny. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you again Zaniah, Christina, and Joe you guys are the best!!!“
“The food was amazing. It's gourmet style and all very appetizing. The servers were very polite and attentive. It was a cold evening but it appears some outdoor seating would be nice to take advantage of if available and heated. My only criticism is that it was very loud inside. There are acoustical solutions for restaurants that I've seen work very well for absorbing loud noise from conversation.“
“Food was fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. Beware of the pickled jalapeños if you are sensitive to spicy food. Both their beef gyro and falafel were the best I’ve ever had. Please keep in mind that I don’t even like meat and I’ve been struggling with anorexia for decades. So it’s very difficult for me to eat anything unless it’s super fresh and extraordinarily tasty. This place is a true gem and treasure.Service was outstanding, The owner-host made us feel immediately welcomed and at ease. She let us customize our order and was very prompt with our food. She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients they use, as well. The seating area is small, but that is to be expected in this area.Overall, this was by far our favorite restaurant to visit in the Philly area.Vegetarian options: they have falafel, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, salads, you name it! they offer endless customization options if you’d like, as well.Dietary restrictions: they serve halal, and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients they use.“
“It was my very 1st time ever eating Greek food. I was a bit nervous because I am not an adventurous eater but because I was a guest.... I figured I'd "give it a go".... To my surprise, I loved the grilled pork, Greek veggies and Rice was so good....They had this white creamy sauce called Tyzekih sauce it was......interesting, good but tasty as well. The one draw back was the waiter...he was old, tired and could not get the order correct. Maybe he should be on the register instead of on his feet taking orders, not so successfully. Besides him, it was a great experience!Wheelchair accessibility: We ate outside so a wheelchair can be wheeled right up to the table.“
“I took a chance and got the Cool Kid bowl with grilled chicken added on even though it was $20 (im a student, so this is a splurge). And you know what... it did not disappoint. Oh man, it's fresh, flavorful, decadent. I don't even usually like lentils but I am chowing on this bowl. The hummus is almost fluffy and mixing it in with everything else just tastes perfect. The grilled chicken is tender and lean, better than Sweetgreen. The carrots and beets are well cooked. Perfectly balanced bowl with filling portions. Came out quickly and hot. Allia and Gillian (sorry.. spelling!) are so sweet.“
“I've tried a few different Ethiopian places and this is some of the best I've tried. Normally I'm not a huge fan of collard greens but I loved these, they were tender and delicious. The bread was thick and spongey and portioned correctly for the amount of vegetables in the platter. I would certainly return if I were in the area again.“
“Good food at a good price. I eat a lot of hummus and this Aria's is really good.I also got the Salmon Kebab. The salmon was yummy but, in my opinion, under-spiced and too oily. The rice it came with was phenomenal, though.Really nice staff too.“
“We a great dinner last night at Zestys on Main Street in Manayunk. Delicious octopus, lamb and hummus! The cocktail was ok, but everything else was fantastic. Great service, the owner was walking around greeting everyone and when the music started we felt like we were in Greece! And of course, the bellydancer was great. Go early because it gets filled up. And....take your time...service is not fast, but very friendly and cordial. Check it out.“
“What a really great spot. We came for a work dinner, not knowing what to expect, and it could not have been a nicer evening. The food was fantastic, from the very first appetizer to the delicious dessert cups at the end. The service was even better. The people were really lovely and the ambiance was warm and intimate. Perfect night. Thank you!“
“The food is so good. This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back regularly. The restaurant is larger than it looks from outside, there is plenty of seating and parking was not a problem. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and the baklava cheesecake. Do yourself a favor and order 2 of the baklava cheesecakes. I regretted only ordering one when I got home.“
“This was such a nice surprise! The place looks like any old building in a residential neighborhood. It is a tiny place to order Armenian soujuk (sausages), and lahmajun (seasoned meat toppings on flat bread). Soujuk is salty, because you have to pan fry them and either mix with tomatoes or eat with eggs and bread. Lahmajun comes in a pack of ten, and it is truly a bang for your money! If you go to any Middle Eastern markets and buy frozen lahmajun you will easily pay a lot more and have them not taste that good. This place is family owned so the service is friendly“
“This is our second time grabbing take-out from here, and it most definitely NOT be our last.First, the food:My son and I both got the lamb gyro. The lamb was some of the most tender and flavorful I have ever had (and I sous vide my lamb). Just fantastic. We also got the mini sampler. The hummus was a bit lacking in flavor, but was still good and well made. The falafel were perfectly cooked (so rare in my experience!) crispy and delectable. The dolmas are a hair too tender (I like more of a firm leaf) but the flavor more than made up for it.The Baba Ghanouj was a show stealer of the sampler. The signature char flavor was outstanding. More than good enough to eat by itself. My favorite of the night was the lentil soup. The aroma alone was mouth watering. Overall it has a wonderful depth of flavor. The time and love that went into making it was very evident.Lastly I want to make sure to mention the owners…they are so friendly! Both times now I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality on the phone and in person. These two are doing things the right way.I would absolutely recommend you give this place a try if you have not. Such wonderful food being made by just as wonderful people!“
“Amazing food and polite staff, and a really lively atmosphere. I had a great hangover chicken and waffles (which was personally enjoyably much sweeter than usual at other restaurants, but you do get self serve syrup). However, I think choosing this dish over others here would be doing the restaurant a disservice. It was obvious that with only like three sweet dishes, you should just get their actual food.I’ll be back if I’m in town.“
“TL:DR - Delicious food, awesome folks, family business!Had been meaning to try this place out stopping in briefly last month to check out the menu, but not ordering anything. Sure glad I came back! The food is delicious, and prepared with love by Ali and his family. The menu has a wide variety of Mediterranean food, so you can get everything you'd like! They also do custom requests (and catering!) if you'd like something specially prepared for you.First and foremost, the "famous" pumpkin bread pudding was absolutely amazing. Fortunately they serve it all year round! It was great cold, warmed up, and from the fridge the next day. The savory pumpkin and just-right-amount of spices pair perfectly with the rich, sweet bread pudding. Do not miss out on this one! And eat dessert first! At my sis' recommendation, I tried the stuffed grape leaf wrap - and it was delicious. It had all the things a tiny stuffed grape leaf would have in it, with extra tasty ingredients, in the convenience and size of a full wrap! There is a reason that we ordered three of them, and they were gone in a blink! The moussaka was a little light on the bechamel layer, but otherwise wonderful. The ground meat, sauce, and cheese were great with the layers of eggplant. Slightly different than the traditional Greek style I'm used to, but definitely tasty. The cold eggplant and tomato salad is a terrific side for any food from Caspian Grille. It's perfectly pickled, freshly made, and you can get as large a size to fit your hunger. An interesting new taste that I will get again next time. All in all, go here, and try out these delicious foods!Parking: Free strip-mall parking lot. Be sure to go in the correct entrance, or you will have to take a side street to get in.“
“Visited for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Our entire evening was wonderful! The food, the service...everything. Imperatore is understated and polished. It has a quiet ambiance, which is refreshing considering some of its boisterous Blue Bell competitors. We will definitely return!“
“First thing I noticed was how friendly they were with the woman ordering in front of me. These are nice people. While I was there, I noticed even though the kitchen was busy, it was clean. Big points for that. Then there's the food... we ordered three separate things and everything was very good. The smell of the sauce on the pizza was heavenly. I know a good "gravy". Hard working people who make good food and they make you feel like you stopped by someone's house, that kind of welcome. I will definitely be back! Make sure you get a menu because there's something for everyone!“
“The food was really great! The sauces were nice. They had a good amount of the main entree and gave you a lot of things on the side as well. The portion sizes were great for the price, I couldn't finish everything! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part is that it is all halal!“
“Waiter was great....humus ...great variety and absolutely delicious....I had the lamb dish and it was good...pulled lamb....my niece had chicken and my sister said it was quite succulent.Dhe had a fish dish that she ate completely and like. Price was great we had a flourless chocolate cake that we all shared and did not finish. It was quite rich. Good experience..we got there right after opening but it filled up quickly. It's worth a try.Vegetarian options: Not a wide variety for dinner...only pasta“
