“Everything was perfect from beginning to end, from the reserved table, the service, the food. Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. There is always next time! Another wonderful dining experience at Norma’s!“

Bringing a baby to dinner can be stressful but everyone at this restaurant makes it less stressful by being so kind. Our baby loves the zucchini pancakes! “I've been in Philly 16 years, and eaten at every major fine dining restaurant in the city, many more than once. Amada, Zahav, Budakkan, Vernick Fish, you name it. Every Stephen Starr. Every Michael Solmonov. Every Jose Garces. This is the best meal I have ever eaten in my life. The carrots, the beets, the mushroom taglioli, the tuna tartar, the beef carpaccio tartlet, the duck, the liver mousse, the steak...I could go on. Every single bite was either perfect or nearly so. Both of my daughters and my wife said the same. We talked about our top dining experiences in Tokyo, Paris, St. Petersburg, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, there have been so many, many good meals in our life. My order was packed with such care that it made me 100% want to go and dine at the restaurant because imagine when you go there! “Genuinely, do not sleep on this place. The food is out of this world. So good, so flavorful, and so wonderfully cooked. I had this place on my radar after they made the Inquirer's Best Falafel list, and it exceeded my expectations. It's also surprisingly affordable as far as take-out goes. Our delivery order of two sandwiches, two platters, and an order of baba ganouj was only $60, including GrubHub fees and driver tip. The portions are great. You'll be satisfied and full. I will absolutely be a regular customer moving forward.“

I cannot praise enough how everything is prepared, its all fresh. I suggest not ordering Piyaz because it was always replaced with shepard salad and not hummus...if you catch the drift of wanting beans instead of leaves.... Service is probably better if you speak the language, nonetheless there is always someone there who is experienced with English, I felt welcomed even tho I walked into the smoking lounge which I found cool because it was all men just playing cards or dice and games. I wasnt hushed out of the room, just redirected but it was smokey lol, Atmosphere when I usually order is vacant, the place is off the beaten path but its well worth the take out. Its a family business it seems and they got something good going on, I go tho this place regularly, like once every 2-3 weeks and im happy everytime.“

“It's inside the Reading Terminal Market. Eat in or take away. There were several stools when I chose them for lunch, from all the options there. They have chicken, and lamb/beef combo roasting in front of you, they cut your sandwich from. Fresh tomato and onion bits inside a Pita. There is a white sauce, which I didn't have. Sandwich can come with fries and coke for under $15. I got a smaller portion of fries. All fresh and tasty. service was attentive and speedy. Very pleased with my visit.“
