I can’t say enough about this place! The Altoona Hotel Sicilian Pizza is spot on, and took us back in time to the original. 29th Street’s version has even more cheese and salami, and is definitely worth a try! Also tried a delicious Italian hoagie. The bread was excellent with a great chew, loaded with premium meats and fresh veggies, and the house dressing complimented it perfectly. Drove here from Michigan to try two slices of their famous Altoona Style pizza! The kindness of the people cannot be matched, they made such a memorable stop for us!
Was also delighted to say that even tho I was hesitant to try it, since im not a big “yellow cheese” fan, the Altoona pizza is really delicious!! 10/10 will stop again!
