Easily one of the best local spots for consistently good food, great service, and to just catch a game. If you're not from the area and are looking for a spot for a dinner bite, this is it. Might I suggest the All American classic go to or perhaps the seasonal Fall Gobbler. Finish off with a creme brulee or tart pie desert
Pierogi's here are amazing!! I've been here many times, and the staff members are the sweetest.The drinks are great, and they do have live entertainment now and then which seems to be a crowd pleaser.
This is the restaurant / bar of choice anytime we are in Altoona. Fantastic food (especially steam bar), Fantastic bar and wait staff. My only complaint as of recent is the music and entertainment. Most of the time there is no music but when there is music it is an awful genre that nobody wants to hear, not even the bar and wait staff. They also used to do trivia in the past but is now gone. Outside that, Champs is The place to go in Altoona.
