The endive salad with a Dijon vinaigrette was sublime and the Red Snapper the best we’ve had. Oh, and the New York strip steak was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. Treat yourself and experience what fine dining is.”

“I really enjoyed the savory ricotta with avocado on sourdough bread. Best I’ve ever had! Pretty good size and lots of avocado. Their cold-pressed organic juice was also decent. Be prepared that everything is pricey but the high-quality food makes up for it.”

It does stink you can't bring your own food in especially because their food trucks don't appeal to everyone.... esp the non meat eater who doesn't want to rely on something fried. “Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.”

“I've frequented the Broad Axe for quite some time and love it for the friendly and welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is good and they have an extensive beer and spirits list. The skilled bartenders can whip up anything to suit a mood or taste.”

“This is one of my favorite spots to visit during hot summer days for water ice and ice cream. They're always changing flavors but overall the options are very simple. I also love the blendinis and mistos. The staff here are usually made up of local high school students but the service is still good. Everyone is really friendly”

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!”

“If you are looking for a local divey bar this is it. Bartender was pleasant. There was a dart game in progress on the night we came. We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.”

“What a gem! I don’t know how I’ve never noticed this place despite having been to the paint store next door so often. Easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Montco. Incredible service; everyone was super kind and accommodating and our water glasses were never empty. The food came out super fast despite several large celebrations taking place. Generous portion sizes, fresh seafood and some of the most delectable handmade pasta dishes. It was such a treat to see sacchetti on a menu outside of Italy. The pear and cheese filling and sauce were incredibly unique and the pasta was ever so delicate. They were also very accommodating of our 15 month old son. We will be back soon and next time won’t forget to BYOB!”

“Came from Manhattan to visit family and made a stop here for lunch — it did not disappoint!
This juice bar is so inviting from the decor to the wonderful employees behind the counter. I love that they wrote such a positive message on my smoothie cup, the little details don’t go unnoticed! The smoothie is filled with such clean and delicious ingredients and I took a cold press juice to go. My group also purchased açaí bowls and they also had rave reviews! A must try for myself next time I’m in town. We all felt satisfied and had such great energy throughout the rest of the day. Food is fuel and with such clean fruits, veggies, and toppings — you can’t help but feel great!”

Very knowledgeable about the menu and substitutions we might like better. Nice, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and large portions. “We had dinner at Planchette yesterday in celebration of Father’s Day. In addition to my husband and myself, our daughter, son in law, and two adult grandsons shared the meal. The food was absolutely the best we’ve had in a very long time. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff was wonderful too. Everyone knows it’s been very difficult getting and keeping staff since the pandemic hit. It’s a shame the folks that complained so bitterly about having to wait did not take this fact into consideration. We’d heartily recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience.”

“Best breakfast in Montco, won’t entertain any other opinions. Seriously, the food at the Sweet Briar is amazing and the atmosphere is even better. Sometimes I literally dream of the Philly omelette and the Greek omelette. The ice cream is delicious and they always have fun specials, my daughter loves getting treats here. Staff and service is amazing, this place is truly a community gem.”
