“DEFINITELY a locals bar. Sometimes non-locals may "subjectively" feel a bit unwelcomed when venturing into the unknown, outside of the sanitized corporately run chain places. Not the case here in my personal experience. Bartender Kat hit all of the ✔️s in what you'd expect as a new customer. I will return. Many people might be turned off by the "no frills" first impression. But the honest interaction is what works for us. No facades. What I like.“

“A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.

Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! “I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“
