“I had the most delicious Chicken Francaise at the Club at the Highlands tonight, accompanied by mashed potatoes and zucchini superbly prepared and artfully presented. The sauce was to die for! I had a generous side salad that came with my meal. My companion had the round Archbald pizza that was a considerable size for a very reasonable $12! We both enjoyed an Alligash draft beer. It was a quiet night, the dining room was comfortable with a nice ambience and our very attentive server took care of us quickly. All in all, we thought the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We enjoyed our meal at The Highlands very, very much!“

“The good old days are alive and well at Rossi's! Tonight, we ordered takeout from Rossi's, and it was better than ever. The portion of Chicken Parmesan was bigger than ever, and it was so tender I didn't even need a knife. The sauce is semi-sweet and always feels like being at your grandparents' house on Sunday. The side of pasta is a meal in itself, and the side salad is always good. The Chicken Jacquelyn is sautéed with prosciutto ham and finished in a sherry cream sauce. That also comes with what seems like a side of never-ending pasta. Rossi's is a must-visit, but please make reservations or order takeout. Oh, those cutletz!“

“This place is absolutely incredible I never go out to bars but I love wings and a good friend of mine told me to try it and my God it did not disappoint I ordered Mild with medium to try because when it comes to spicey I am not able to handle much heat but the Mild was just the right amount the crispy crunch of the wing also soft and chewy I don't know how they do it but it is just perfect they are also the biggest wings I have ever seen and eaten I bought an order of the mild and an order of the garlic and they were both incredible. After enjoying that, I also looked on the menu and seen, they had minnie potato pancakes and that is also another one of my favorite things, so I ordered that and some seasoned fries just to try everything. And it was just absolutely incredible The people in there especially the bartender named Matt he was so quick and friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was just so warm. Everybody was so nice and welcoming and I just don't know what else to say. If you're looking for a nice little place to go and have some incredible food and have a few drinks and a good time. I would highly recommend trying out this place. You won't be sorry. I also seen a bunch of people ordering pizzas and they were absolutely loaded with food I myself haven't had the pizza yet but will be back for more incredible wings and pancakes and will definitely be trying the pizza“

Having just had two disappointing dinners the past two nights at two highly acclaimed restaurants in the Fingers Lakes, 16th Ward was not a planned stop but was an amazing discovery! “Stopped for dinner on our roadtrip and the Roosevelt Beer Garden did not disappoint! The service was super friendly and quick. Had the steak and cheese, added the hot and sweet peppers for a nice kick, wife had the meatball parm which was well seasoned and cheesy, and cheese burgers hit the spot for the kids. On this occasion we had the jalapeños cheeseburger, chicken tenders & fries & cheesesteak. The food was your normal bar food, good flavors. Would like to return for some different sauces. “I dont know how this place is during the week days but I go when the DJ is there, it's a fun time but the smoke in there from people smoking in there is enough to choke a horse. Dont wear your good clothes or it will be covered by cigarette smoke. They have to get a air filter system in there..“

It's definitely a smaller hole in the wall type establishment and can get very crowded but was a great time for my friends and I.What makes this bar get 5 stars however is the bartender. Even though he was incredibly busy he covered my Soda free of charge when he found out I was the designated driver. While $1 is practically meaningless to me, seeing him observe the position I was in and choosing to cover my drink even when I was happy to pay made this place stand out to me. Most people do not enjoy being the sober driver so the gesture really made an impression on me about what kind of establishment this was.“

“I stopped in to grab dinner while I was working. I took a seat at the bar and ordered the steamed clams with a soda chaser. The bartender Lauren was friendly, the clams were delicious and the conversation with the couple at the bar was pleasurable. The place had great atmosphere is deceptively large inside. “AJ’s is the best place to go to have a great time and enjoy yourself. The bar staff is outstanding and extremely friendly. They works very hard running around all night during events serving drinks and food. Danny, one of the owner’s, is very accommodating to everyone. I like the fact that Danny joins in with all of his customers right on the dance floor then makes the dash to clean the tables off and make sure everybody has what they need. We’ve eaten there many times and the food is always great. Outstanding kitchen! I highly recommend going to a place that is fun to be at to have a good time. The bands that Danny gets are absolutely fantastic and top-notch. Give AJ’s a try for yourself. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.“
