“One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! The place is absolutely beautiful, the food is phenomenal, and the mocktails were perfect. The staff was incredible — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. And Gabe, the manager, is truly exceptional and made us feel like VIPs. I had the Goat Cheese & Ricotta Cavatelli for my entrée and the Flourless Chocolate Torte for dessert. Everything was just amazing from start to finish. We can’t wait to go back!“

“To start the service I received was above and beyond excellence. I placed a take out order and from the moment the man behind the counter learned my name he addressed me as such there forward. That simple act made the experience go from being a normal customer to feeling like I was a local and I had been coming here my whole life. When placing my order any question I could have was answered before I could even think of it. The order was made in great time even though the place was pacted. The food itself was delicious and perfectly cooked.“

“Please make it a point to find and visit this nostalgic local coffee shop! It always has a fun vibe and it’s great to meet local folks and patronize our independent businesses. The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. Not to mention what Pat is doing with the outside patio…. it’s such an asset to Scranton and the sad thing is, no one knows it’s there! do yourself a favor, pass out DD and ⭐️ bucks for the BlackWatch Cafe Nay Aug Park in Scranton,PA!“

“We heard about this place on NEPA Pizza Review and since we happen to be in Scranton today we stopped there to eat lunch. It's such a nice, clean place with friendly staff. We had the large pizza with sausage and it was absolutely delicious!! We'll definitely go back!!!“

“Great local italian restaurant in the downtown area. It's pretty popular so be sure to make a reservation ahead. Randomly, you can find empty seats by the wood fire pizza station. We don't mind and the hosts always ask in case as it isn't a regular table. You can see all the kitchen action and pizza making skills while dining. Terrific service by my server JP. He set us up with a wine bottle and the bikini bottom pizza which is always delicious. There is also a gelato/coffee section near the entrance located by the bar. They do have a room with a big table in case you're looking for a more private dinner. However, you still feel like you are in the restaurant part of the crowd as it is enclosed by glass. There is a section to hang coats. Definitely try the whipped ricotta!“

“If you are near Abe's Deli you really should stop in. We were greeted by a number of very friendly staff. From the moment you walked in, you knew you're in a very popular spot. A number of people came in and where greeted by name. And the pastrami reuben and oatmeal raisin were excellent.“

“I hosted my 20th class reunion there this past Saturday and the space was perfect! They provided large round tables and chairs as well as long ones. The area was clean upon arrival and accommodated whatever we asked for. We had ~70 guests with more than enough standing room. We also had a live DJ and a photographer. I brought in cocktail table which helped bring out my vision more as I wanted limited sitting to ensure people socialized. Bartenders were super friendly and provided great customer service to my guests. 20/10 would I recommend and definitely an awesome place to host a party!“

“Phenomenal food, atmosphere & people! This place is a gem & worth the drive no matter where you're from! I took my husband for his birthday.
He had veal parmigiana w linguine & salad. I had pappardelle bolognese w italian wedding soup. The bread was warm w oil for dipping & the entrees served hot as they should be. (it was obvious that nothing was sitting waiting to come out of the kitchen)
The waitstaff are super friendly & attentive and the cocktails- a bloody mary & tiramisu martini were excellent!
Dessert was brownie ala mode w a candle & song for hubs, and tiramisu for me.

“If you eat *at* the restaurant the food is great. If you do take out, the food is less desirable.
I've ordered Pad Thai with beef (both inside and takeout) & both times my beef did not look like beef. Both times it was a khaki colored meat (maybe pork??) so not sure if that was because of the sauce.
It tasted absolutely amazing when I ate in versus take out but I still didn't eat the meat.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great, too. I loved the music played as well.“

“My new ice cream shop for sure. Third time the charm for catching it open and we'll worth the wait....
My favorite ice cream of all time for over 45 years is mint chocolate chip ..I will judge an entire dairy based on one little taste of my favorite ...as you can see from the size of the scoop , I had many many little tastes and enjoyed every single one of them....smooth, creamy perfectly minty with just the right amount of chocolate! As you can also see, Shasta , my service wahwah enjoyed the heck out of her complimentary pupcup with two teeny weeny milk bone sprinkles!
Such a lovely chill spot and the color changing spoon amused me.

“You Need To Know? Came here based on a recommendation from a friend. Bellied up to the bar & had cold drinks & bar fare. On this occasion we had the jalapeños cheeseburger, chicken tenders & fries & cheesesteak. The food was your normal bar food, good flavors. Would like to return for some different sauces. Environment was very cool & the girls behind the bar worked very well together. Good stop for those in the Dickson City area.“

“I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed by my experience here on Saturday that I just feel like I really have to. My girlfriends and I met here for a girls night over the weekend and every single one of the four of us had nothing but great things to say about the whole evening. The service vibes were IMMACULATE; from the hostess, to the server, to the bartender, everyone added a positive energy to the restaurant. The food and drinks.. MY GAWD. We ordered quite a bit of food for the four of us to share, and there was not one single thing that we didn’t love; seriously, we talked about how good the food was for hours to everyone any anyone who would listen. Its two days later and I’m still talking about it and telling my husband that we need to make a reservation for our next date night. Seriously, one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.“

“Myself and another firefighter were traveling back to Illinois from New York after picking up our new fire engine. We looked at online reviews and decided to stop in off of the interstate. Man was it worth it. The beef sandwiches were amazing and loaded. We went with cheese fries as a side, and they were just as great. If I am ever up that way again, I will definitely make the stop again. We left there will full stomach’s regretting getting so much food.“

“We’ve been here several times, always happy with our meals but had a particularly great server experience tonite. Megan H was wonderful! She is so kind and pleasant. She is very attentive and picked up on my daughter not enjoying her lemonade(too sweet & sour) and offered to bring another drink right over. Checked on us several times and when we were too full for dessert (but my son not too full for more biscuits) offered to wrap some for him to take home. She made his night!!“

“Was there for a birthday dinner. Weekend night and we had 13ppl. Establishment was super busy , but service was great, food was plentiful, as we ordered several drinks, apps and pizzas for the whole table...only drawback was exactly That, the place was crazy busy !! I've been there several times and love the food and service. 👍👍“

“Great choices of beer selections and spirits. We love coming here because of it. However, when you’re sitting at the bar it seems all the bartenders are more concentrated on washing glasses and doing other bar clean up , rather than waiting on customers. You sit there with an empty glass forever. This has happened every time we go and it’s pretty annoying.“
