“I stopped here on a Sunday late afternoon in August while traveling. I had their beer before at other establishments and had this flagged on my map.

I had a flight of 4 beers - 2 IPAs and 2 fruited beers. They all were good. My favorite of the 4 was the Eat a Peach.

The building is huge. The tasting room is small. It was pretty quiet but some more folks came in while I was there. There is no food menu but they had small snacks available. Hell yes to Middleswarth chips!

The staff were friendly. The price for a flight was good. The vibe was laidback and casual.

There was plenty of parking available. I saw they had an outdoor seating area but I stayed inside.

“If you are near Abe's Deli you really should stop in. We were greeted by a number of very friendly staff. From the moment you walked in, you knew you're in a very popular spot. A number of people came in and where greeted by name. And the pastrami reuben and oatmeal raisin were excellent.“

“The female owner operator is absolutely adorable her customer service is second to none she goes out of her way to make sure you feel like family and their sandwiches are remarkable and they're not cheap on products it's always good but 10 out of 10 and the atmosphere gets better every time I go.“

I got it on the everything bagel, and I might add some more cheese if I want it extra gooey next time, but it’s probably the proper amount. The iced coffee was lightly iced and I didn’t even have to specify (that’s my Dunkin’ hack, less ice since they love that bartender trick). It wasn’t too sweet and the unique house flavors pose some tough counter decisions; the praline was nutty and caramelly, with just the right amount of cinnamon. There’s table service when possible, but it can get busy so keeping your head up helps everyone. Jess and Kiersten keep a cozy and easy-to-do-work vibe inside, as the cafe doubled as my office last week. The sensibly relevant wifi password, easily explained, is also a huge flex these days. Whether you wanna settle in, or just stop by for a quick bite, this spot is versatile, open till 2 and offers one of the best breakfast sandwiches around. Well done!“

The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. The area was clean upon arrival and accommodated whatever we asked for. We had ~70 guests with more than enough standing room. We also had a live DJ and a photographer. I brought in cocktail table which helped bring out my vision more as I wanted limited sitting to ensure people socialized. Bartenders were super friendly and provided great customer service to my guests. 20/10 would I recommend and definitely an awesome place to host a party!“

“Stopped here on the way back to ny from jersey. This was a wonderful decision. The diner was packed at 11:30am with a line out the door, and I can see why. The energy from the staff is great for how rushed they probably are, but they serve up some incredible food. The stuffed french toast is the best french toast ive ever had, and you get a massive amount for just $12.50. I also had one of the appetizer samplers. Nothing particularly mindblowing about the samples, but the sweet potato fries were very good. Wings were a bit overcooked and dry but had an excellent crisp. Everything else about the appetizer sampler was pretty average.“

“Sometimes it's hard to find a cafe with great coffee and friendly baristas. (Often baristas have an attitude.) This place has super friendly staff and I was happy that the large coffee "for here" can be served in real mugs instead of to-go cups and that they put 4 shots of espresso in the large. It's also hard to find non dairy unsweetened milk, but they have it here. Prices are not ridiculously high like many places. Definitely recommend!“

“My best friend and I went to dinner to celebrate my birthday and we ended up here by chance. We got The Garden Platter because we have never tried Mediterranean food and wanted to sample a little of everything. It is a TON of food! 😆 Great for 4 people, there was only 2 of us, needless to say we had an insane amount of Togo containers. Everything is beautifully plated, tastes phenomenal, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff were amazing!! I would give this a 10/10 must try if in the Scranton area.
