“I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar.“

“My family and I stopped in to Geo's about a month ago fresh off a plane and hungry for some Philly steaks. The location was perfect for us and family friendly. We ordered some steaks which were enormous and delicious but while we waited Geo personally sampled us some menu favorites on the house. What a great experience. “Amazing experience at Mabu for New Year's Eve (and my husband's birthday !). We had the four course special menu and every single course was DIVINE. To start was a delicious cauliflower bisque, then I had some glazed carrots, the best coq au vin Ive had in a decade, and finished with a phenomenal creme brulee. My husband had the rack of lamb and said it was so tender and flavorful -he was definitely covertly trying to lick his plate. Ryan, our server was excellent as well. “We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.“

The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. Clams Casino and Meatballs appetizer set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and they nailed it. Seafood ala Scannichios and the NY strip longjohn were hugely portioned and delicious. Others in our party had the Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm and a few others- and they raved about them. Tiramisu and Bananas Foster were sublime. The owner Christian and his family really made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back on future trips.“
