I wish I didn't have to write this review. Sadly, this is day 2 of being sick after eating here with friends. I had the brussels sprouts, flatbread, chocoyotes, sweet potatoes and spring papardelle

I was super excited for this place, came for my husband’s birthday and after dinner my expectations weren’t met. We tried two of their daily specials, the smash burger was amazing!! We also got their prime rib sandwich and this was a miss. The price was a lot for being basically an overdone dry steak sandwich. The real kicker of the night was the service. We had Matt N. and he was not attentive and made us feel like we inconvenienced him. Honestly I will still recommend this place to my friends and family, but wish the service was just better for a special occasion.

For the past three years, you have been a place I simply cannot do without whenever I visit Haverford. Beyond the presence of you wonderful people, our CHEF’s RIPP FRIES are magnificent. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire staff—and especially to Justine—for their smiling faces and attentiveness.

An awesome little foodery and craft cocktail bar. Food was amazing, and worth it to get multiple plates to share. Drink selection, especially the whiskeys menu, are tremendous! Highly recommend giving Ripplewood a try!

5 of us sat at the bar upstairs last night and the bartender was UNFRIENDLY borderline RUDE to a few of us. Maybe she was having a bad night but no need to pass that to the customers.
Cocktails actually tasted good but the bad service overshadowed the good drinks.

Ripplewood made my 50th birthday absolutely magical.

Some nights do not simply happen. They linger. They glow. They stay with you. My celebration at Ripplewood was one of those nights, and I will carry that feeling with me for a very long time.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, warm, and beautifully done. The food was exceptional, the service was seamless, and every detail reflected such care and intention. Biff’s refined comfort food was soulful and unforgettable. Brian managed the bar beautifully, and the signature cocktail, “She Sparkles and Shines,” was the perfect touch for such a celebratory evening. Mike and the entire team created an atmosphere that felt joyful, polished, and full of heart.

Everyone I have spoken to since has said the same thing: what an extraordinary night it was. The energy, the laughter, the atmosphere, it all came together in a way that felt almost magical. One of my favorite moments of the night was when my nephew threw his arm around me and said, “Auntie, the food is banging.” He was right.

Ripplewood gave me more than a venue for a milestone birthday. They gave me a memory filled with love, comfort, celebration, and grace. I am deeply grateful to the entire team for making my 50th not only memorable but truly unforgettable.

Food was great. Server was totally miserable and had zero personality. Ruined the experience.

Consistent cool bar scene and great food. Creative cocktails. Love the variety of spaces for dining, the porch, back room, upstairs and bar. Best smash burger in town. Cool Friday night hang out both intimate and active.
