They do not load it up with salt to mask inferior cooking.Do not dare call it bland, they keep flavors simple.There's a salt shaker at every table.If you want extra flavor, a little heat?Ask for green sauce.If you want heat ??Ask for red sauce or to add a jalapeño to the food.They've given me raw jalapeño chopped or roasted (whatever I ask for)...2. Decor is festive, bright bold colors, clean tables and floors.Wait staff is friendly fast clean.Only thing they need? low volume spanish music“

“Gettysburg is fortunate to be home to so many great Mexican Restaurants. That said, El Sangarito is hands down my favorite. The tacos are incredible and their quesadilla is the size of a medium pizza loaded with the meat of your choice, peppers, onions, avocado, and with a side of their salsa and sour cream. Their burrito makes Chipotle pale in comparison in terms of its size and flavor. The only downsides are the very limited seating and you have to walk through a laundromat to get to it. Still, you're doing yourself a disservice if you let that deter you from this authentic cuisine.“

“I'm hooked on the shrimp quesadilla and they also make their own shells for taco salads. From breakfast, burgers, wings, shrimp baskets and Mexican food....everything has been good and staff is friendly. Not a fancy restaurant, but well worth stopping in! Support small, local businesses.“

“Highly recommend! Great service and food! My personal favorite menu item is their taco salads and my Mom always gets their shrimp quesadilla. The owner comes out from the kitchen every time we are there to say hi and see how our meal is. It’s a true mom and pop establishment!“

“We ordered lunch online for pickup. When we got there the woman working with the kindest most friendly woman and very helpful. She made sure that our food was hot and fresh, packed everything to go and made sure we had what we needed. When we got to our destination to eat, as we opened all the containers we couldn't believe how great the food looked. Everything was delicious and our order was a good mix of sub sandwich, burritos, tacos, and homemade chips with queso blanco. I will eat here again every time I take the trip to Pennsylvania! Delicious!“
