We’re visiting from Indiana and decided to stop at Bab’s Chicken in Audubon and wow, we are so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. I ordered the Bab’s fries and they were fire.🔥
The gentleman running the register tonight was so sweet, kind, and attentive — just an all-around great person. I didn’t catch his name, but my whole family commented on how wonderful he was. You can really tell this place...read full review
I stopped here the other day on a whim, and I was very impressed. I got the Bab’s Fries, which are fries topped with cut up chicken and their house “Baba’s Sauce.” The fries were good quality, the chicken was very flavorful- I got the no heat cause it was already close to 100° outside and I didn’t need any more heat that day (lol), and I was expecting the chicken may not be heavily seasoned without the hot chicken seasoning but I was wrong! Bab’s Nashville Hot Chicken is a family‑run spot that stands out among the many Nashville hot chicken places. The menu features a Southern burrito, baked beans, potato salad, mild chicken sandwich, and classic Mac with hot chicken and bab sauce. The sides are praised as the best baked beans and potato salad ever tasted, and the homemade vanilla ice cream is described as fantastic. The owner gives free hot honey and ice cream samples, and staff are friendly, welcoming, and quick to serve. Halal chicken is highlighted as a reason to visit, and take‑out items like the original mac bowl, original burger, oreo shake, and banana pudding are noted for their deliciousness, though the banana pudding could use more biscuits. The atmosphere is warm and family‑oriented, with a mascot that feels like a grandfather, and the service feels like being treated as family. Guests repeatedly say they will return, recommend the place, and even receive free meals for sick family members. Overall, Bab’s offers great food, great people, and a memorable atmosphere.
