“Best burger king ever! Stopped here traveling with my family for a quick bite. The food was fresh and delicious! Service was prompt and extremely polite. I didn't finish my sandwich and they offered me a bag to put it in for the ride home. The staff here deserves a raise! They were amazing with my children!“

It's hit or miss most of the time bc my burgers are warm at times and should be hot enough for my cheese to meltt. I ordered the cinnabons w/ caramel ice coffee and the icing wasn't melted also the cinnamon rolls were hard. It's not like this at all the Wendy's locations I visited. Please keep the orange creamsicle frosty on the menu all year; it's DELICIOUS“

“Went for a late dinner after the Heidelberg October fest with my fiancé and 5 year old for the first time since the expansion. I had high expectations because we have had take out multiple times and have been pleased. We were not disappointed! We had a hot dog, Cuban sandwich, torts with salsa (AMAZING as always), tater tots and the soup special. Everything was great but the pumpkin/corn harvest chowder was phenomenal, the complexity and layers of flavors was out of this world. I am not easily impressed so I was blown away by our meal. Our server/bartender was great and went out of his way to ensure we had a stellar experience. We will be back again soon!“

I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

“Our waitress Destiny was very friendly, attentive & patient. There was a stressed out mom with 3 uncooperative kids directly behind us and Destiny stayed very professional and heloed how ever she could. As a mom in those moments kidness goes a long way. So kudos to Destiny. The $10 bacardi buckets were a bonus“

“This restaurant has street parking with a meter, quarters only. We did not have any quarters, had to go to the family dollar to buy something to get some. The restaurant is order at the counter then sit down and they bring it to you. The menu was small. The metal chairs are also small. We were coming in as 2 other tables were finishing up, I'm not sure why they do not have more customers. I ordered a salad. It was okay, I wasn't a fan of the cheese melted with the meat to a big sheet on top. My husband got the reuben and fries, my son got a smash burger with fries. My husband likes his choice, and my 13 year old did not like the flavor on the fries. We are visiting from out of state, I would say this is not a place that stands out as a must have for me. Also they do not sell alcohol, which did not matter to us. However another couple came in and left due to that.“

A prime rib sandwich on Mancini roll get an A with long sautéed onion and melted provolone. Hope others on Mt Washington and Duquesne Heights make it their go to spot.“

“First time at a Shake Shack on a Sunday afternoon. Aiden was super helpful, friendly and kind as we placed our order for indoor dining. The burgers were fresh, hot and juicy. The onion rings and loaded fries were very good as were the chocolate milkshakes. The restaurant was clean and orderly, the employees were friendly. We enjoyed our meal, would recommend and will go back.“

“If you're looking for a local hangout and local sandwiches this is the place to go. We are visiting from out of town and were looking for a place to have lunch after the Heinz museum. Just as short stroll away in an area of town that's for the restaurants. My wife and I both had cheesesteak sandwiches which were delicious“

I do have to say that I was a bit put off by the fact that I was charged for extra salad dressing, when I didn't even order extra dressing. I asked for my salad to be tossed in very light dressing and include a little on the side. My actual salad had no dressing and was served with one large and one small cup on the side. The salad was so small that I barely dented the large cup. I wasn't going to squabble over $0.50, but I strongly believe that it's very poor restaurant policy to do so.“

There’s a nice variety on the menu, including lots of kid-friendly options, and the atmosphere feels like part of the neighborhood. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“
