“I had an awesome experience at the Burger King on Ohio River Road in Avalon, PA. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was on point, but what really made the difference was Alyssa, the manager. She is absolutely amazing. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and her team. Her energy, professionalism, and kindness make the whole place run smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to see someone take so much pride in their work, and it shows every time you walk in.

If every restaurant had a manager like Alyssa, fast food would be on a whole different level. Highly recommend stopping by!“

It's hit or miss most of the time bc my burgers are warm at times and should be hot enough for my cheese to meltt. I ordered the cinnabons w/ caramel ice coffee and the icing wasn't melted also the cinnamon rolls were hard. It's not like this at all the Wendy's locations I visited. Please keep the orange creamsicle frosty on the menu all year; it's DELICIOUS“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s very cosy inside and the food is absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and kind. Even gave us free lentil soups! I had the gyro wrap with fries and my friend had a bowl - both were super well made and flavorful. Highly recommend!“

I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

“This was my first time going here to eat ?. The menu has a alot of options for your appetite ?. It took me at least 2 times to really decide what to eat with out changing my mind. When I finally decided, the food was hot, fresh, seasoned. I wanted to get more but they were about to wrap and close .lol So next time I come to your restaurant I will make sure to order 2 orders of the STEAK ROLLS with blue cheese dressing. Yummmmmm. “Our waitress Destiny was very friendly, attentive & patient. There was a stressed out mom with 3 uncooperative kids directly behind us and Destiny stayed very professional and heloed how ever she could. As a mom in those moments kidness goes a long way. So kudos to Destiny. The $10 bacardi buckets were a bonus“

“This restaurant has street parking with a meter, quarters only. We did not have any quarters, had to go to the family dollar to buy something to get some. The restaurant is order at the counter then sit down and they bring it to you. The menu was small. The metal chairs are also small. We were coming in as 2 other tables were finishing up, I'm not sure why they do not have more customers. I ordered a salad. It was okay, I wasn't a fan of the cheese melted with the meat to a big sheet on top. My husband got the reuben and fries, my son got a smash burger with fries. My husband likes his choice, and my 13 year old did not like the flavor on the fries. We are visiting from out of state, I would say this is not a place that stands out as a must have for me. Also they do not sell alcohol, which did not matter to us. However another couple came in and left due to that.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 20th engagement anniversary this past Wednesday. In January 2006, I told my wife, back then girlfriend, I'd buy her a ring when the Steelers win the Super Bowl. It was the elusive one for the thumb - Super Bowl XL. I proposed the night before the big game at the overlook on Mt. Washington. We celebrated immediately after at the Grandview Saloon and had a wonderful night!

I did the same thing all over again 20 years later and the Grandview Saloon was excellent! Our meals were beyond sensational! The service, atmosphere, and view of the city made for a perfect evening!

Thank you so much Anna, Caeley, and chef for making a magical evening for us 20 years later, another one that we will never forget!“

“A wonderful addition to the mount. The atmosphere is upbeat. Industrial modern vibe with the decor. But the star is the food. The best fish sandwich in the Burgh. A prime rib sandwich on Mancini roll get an A with long sautéed onion and melted provolone. Hope others on Mt Washington and Duquesne Heights make it their go to spot.“

“First time at a Shake Shack on a Sunday afternoon. Aiden was super helpful, friendly and kind as we placed our order for indoor dining. The burgers were fresh, hot and juicy. The onion rings and loaded fries were very good as were the chocolate milkshakes. The restaurant was clean and orderly, the employees were friendly. We enjoyed our meal, would recommend and will go back.“

Staff is great and always make you feel welcome with a joke or a laugh! Food is fresh, they use Mancinis rolls (iykyk). Tons of options, but my favorite will always be the cheesesteak! They have burgers, fries, etc! Indoor seating, fountain drinks, and bottled drinks available! Highly recommend!“

There’s a nice variety on the menu, including lots of kid-friendly options, and the atmosphere feels like part of the neighborhood. “Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“
