“Great to walk in this Saturday in November to meet Kathy and John and chat about their TOMATO 🍅 PIE @ $1.75 square. The two young men behind the counter were smart and helpful with picking and packing of the bakery items. After learning about the GRASSLAND BUTTER used in baking, plus more additional details, I purchased 1 square of tomato pie ($1.75), 2 cheese/fruit danish ($4.75 each), a 6 pack of ciabatta rolls ($3.00), a long loaf of cracked black pepper and Asiago bread ($7.75), an iced cinnamon roll ($3.75) and a 3 pack of these Scottish Tiffan ($3.60, refer to FB post) ALL $30. Now home, I perked a pot of coffee and sat down to enjoy the danish which imparts a delicious buttery dough, nice, generous middle of fruit filling with an underlay of cream cheese mixture spread. Oh, yum. 😋“

I wasn’t planning on buying anything, to be honest, but I got bored and looked around. Eventually, I decided to sit down and try macarons, which I also found out are macarons, not macaroons. And that macarons are considered pastries? Please, they’re little small cookies with filling. Besides the French people being extra, I can’t speak for when it’s full, but overall my experience was nice. I like that the music isn’t quiet but isn’t superrrr loud either The girl at the counter was nice and quick and told me to just leave the plate on the table when I was done, which was nice because I had to walk out and die in the rains of Zeus. “I needed a gift for a colleague so I stopped in for a box of cookies. I was very impressed with the service and cleanliness of the shop. The boxes are so beautifully wrapped! She loved it. The flavor options are absolutely incredible. I got the cookies, some individual biscotti & a bag of biscotti bits [which I thought was a cool offering]. So far, we've only tried the biscotti but WOW!! They are simply perfect. Can't wait to try the rest.“

“I swung into this bakery on a Saturday morning after running errands nearby. The place smelled like fresh bread the second I opened the door, which is always a good sign. I tried a blueberry muffin and a turkey croissant. The muffin was soft and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The croissant had a nice flaky texture, though it was a little messy to eat in the car. The staff was polite and patient while I looked over the display case (took me a minute to decide). Prices seemed fair for the quality. I’ll probly come back to try their sourdough next time.“

Do not use the guts, just simply add a few, literally less than my son's handfull, Monocacy Coffee whole beans into the aged coffee, bring to quick boil and viola !
