“Sat at the bar and was tended by an awesome bartender named Drew. He recommended great food items to try and kept us supplied with cold beer. Caesar salad with steak was great. Pork sliders were good as well as the fish fry. Fish was fried perfectly without being greasy and had a light crispy coating. Sweet and creamy coleslaw. Mango habanero wings were done well and the generous homemade bleu cheese dip was to die for. Thanks for the great service, Drew!“
“We were in that no man's land of I-80 PA and about to settle on a big chain when we saw the sign for the Morris Family Restaurant. It's an unassuming building between a gas station and a Motel 6 a d had a small neon "open" sign in the window. The service is great, friendly, and helpful. The menu is as varied as any diner, and the food was prepared fresh and delicious. We had the French soup (in a creamy beef stick, very tasty!), Chicken fried steak (juicy), the baked broccoli (almost a casserole and very flavorful), and a pierogi's (yum). We were all tempted by the deep fried hot dog and its tantalizing description "why not try it?" But passed.I'm glad to know this restaurant exists, and when I'm driving this stretch of highway, I'll make this a regular stop!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level and the one- stall bathrooms are spacious enough for a chair.“
“Only had a late breakfast but it came out hot and was well cooked. biscuits and sausage gravy was really good. Also saw a couple of cheesesteaks come out and they were overflowing and looked great. Made we wish I opted for an early lunch. Staff was very efficient without much banter between customers, which was fine.“
