The Bayou is one of the most consistent places to eat in the Lehigh Valley area. From there fried chicken all the way down to their Poboy sandwich, it is always fresh, hot and ready! If you can make it to their happy hour, I would highly suggest it as well. Keep doing what you’re doing Bayou
Food was okay, our waiter/server was a very nice guy. It was just a little weird and very off-putting to use the ladies room and look up at the ceiling after using the facilities/ as I'm pulling my pants up and see two cameras attached to the ceiling. One pointed directly at the corner where the toilet is and one pointed to the corner where the baby changing table is. Neither were pointing at the sink (so when I thought it was maybe to verify that their employees are washing...
I went to this Southern restaurant with a group of friends, and it was such a great experience! I ordered the mac and cheese, and it was incredibly flavorful — creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. I also had a cider, which was delicious and paired really well with the meal. My friends tried different dishes, and it looked like they really enjoyed their food too. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Southern comfort food!
